  1. It is $35 for Sabatini’s and $39 for Crown Grill. So far I have not been charged the 18%. We will see what happens next month
  2. I will be on that cruise as well. I am not to worried about massive changes like the Island had. If they were going to add cabins there would be multiple deck plans and the ability to book aft suites which do not exist today
  3. You can see the menu but it will not include the “extra “ entree in Reserve dining and I have never seen an option to order from the TV
  4. The fare would be the same but not the package price. If people don’t have the package they would both have to pay for WiFi
  5. On longer cruises we are seeing the cutoff at 600 or more
  6. If you are elite I can tell you that you will get a 2nd mini bar regardless of how you book
  7. I am a Liverpool fan and my wife likes Man City
  8. Using FCC and casino comp deposits
  9. On a short cruise a free specialty dinner is the usual option
  10. Are you the ones with the shorts and dark socks up to your calves ?
  11. What do you consider a lot. Between casino deposits and OBC from FCC’s we usually have around $600 or so between the 2 of us
  12. If you are on the Enchanted then you have the concierge lounge which you can access at any time and there will be a machine there for tea and will dispense hot water. We often use it early morning for tea
  13. You can get tea and hot water in the morning using the door hanger no charge
  14. Columbia is the one country that may be an issue. If you can’t get an emergency appointment for a renewal bring everything you have passport birth cert drivers license etc. Since it is not a closed loop cruise you really need to contact the state department for an emergency renewal otherwise you are basically hoping
  15. Last time I sailed from Seattle was about a year ago and it was a mess. There was no suite/elite line and just a pile up of people. There were 2 ship in and it was hard just to drop off our bags. I will be sailing from there in 2025 and I probably will wait until at least 1:00 before trying to get there
  16. They are pop ups that are usually held in a portion of the buffet on most ships
  17. On the Discovry last year it was all MDR lunches including embarkation. We were surprised when we sat down and were told we would have to order as soon as our wine arrived
  18. 5 Sails just an elevator ride to embarkation
  19. On the Discovery in Alaska last year the lunch hours were 11:30 to 1:00. Usually we have seen it 12:00 to 1:30 on other itineraries. Lately we have taken to boarding 2:00 or so after having a nice lunch on land. After all we will be in the ships MDR many times during the cruise so it is nice to treat ourselves to something different. Next month we are doing a high tea prior to boarding at a restaurant within Canada Place
  20. If I am not mistaken the old plus package did not include waiving of room service fees like the new one does so that would be $5 for a room service call I believe
  21. There will be one MDR open and hours often vary by itinerary. Alaska cruises seem to have earlier hours
