  1. Believe me you can get a table without a reservation but if you choose to go at popular times you may have to wait a little
  2. We are good with the plus package. 99% of our favorite drinks fit in the plan. We usually only go the specialty restaurants once or twice a cruise one of which is comped since entail in suites. Most of our cruise are on Grand class ships with few casual eateries so 2 of those are plenty. We eat mainly in the MDR and after 56 cruises never really want to do any photos. But I guess each to his own. Most of our cruises are 14-21 days so the difference in price would be quite high
  3. You will notice it looks like a door connecting the 2 cabins
  4. I don’t think I have written more than 5 checks in the past 3 years. I was going to ask what is a check
  5. I have 8 cruises from now till Oct 2025. They all show on my old app and clock is correct for my cruise in April as well. At least the old app show me as elite. The new app shows me as a blue card
  6. The old app is still working on my phone. I am sailing in 2 days and intend to use it on ship
  7. Every cruise I have taken in the last 2 years has been in a suite. On every single cruise all I did was call the dine line or just went to the venue and got a reservation. There is absolutely no reason to pre book. They hold out tables on first night for suites
  8. The Royal class ships have the huge piazza and the sound just echoes like crazy. We much prefer the Grand class ships which are a little smaller and less deafening. The only times we have had issues with children are on Alaskan cruises in the summer. But what is even worse are adults who carry around backpacks everywhere even in the MDR. I have been hit in the face many times in elevators
  9. Pull your airline tags put in the Princess tags and find the Princess reps takes about 3 minutes
  10. I actually believe odds are better in the casino
  11. We never use the lanyards we have them on clips and just keep the in our pockets. Never want to have a visible medallion or any other indication that we are tourists while in port
  12. Have been on 8 cruises since the restart got Covid on 2 of them. We no longer wear masks in most situations but do find them helpful for playing slots in the smoking area of the casino. We are in buses and trains many times a week here at home and don’t really worry about it anymore.
  13. You need a new TA Specialty restaurants are different from casual restaurants. Premiere package gets 2 specialty’s plus gets 2 casuals. If you have plus you are taking about Vines and Salty Dod Gastropub
  14. All my cruises for 2024 and 2025 are casino deals so they have to be paid for when booked. No discount since them and that is 8 different cruises
  15. When I tested positive friends I was sailing with were never contacted and my wife was able to go out and enjoy the ship
  16. I drank while on Paxlovid on the first infection no one from medical said a word about drinking
  17. I never heard of no alcohol for Covid both times I had it I ordered at least a bottle of wine per day plus some manhattans
  18. I have to wonder about these offers. We always have Plus and when I look at upgrades to premier it still says $80 for premier or $20 per person per day. Not worth it for us
  19. All as far as I know. We always go to Sabatini’s on embarkation night and never reserve in advance
  20. There is no need to pre book. On any cruise 6 days or longer you can book when you board. The keep tables back for suite guests for that night. We have never had an issue
  21. Suite guests are guaranteed specialty dining embarkation night. No need to book in advance. We always just call the dine line or go to the venue when we board to make the reservation and have always been taken care of. This only applies to cruises 6 days or more in length
  22. I have 56 Princess cruises and the new app shows me new to Princess. I will stick with the old app which shows me correctly as I sail in z4 days. Plus I always bring screen shots of my travel summary and a screen shot of my account showing the number of cruises just to be safe
  23. The last one was March 2023. I think this policy is still in effect from what friends of mine have experienced
  24. I have had Covid on 2 cruises over the last few years. Both times quarantined for 5 days and was able to order all meals from room service and drinks as well. Yes I did get credit for days quarantined to use on future bookings. This was not done through insurance and I received a letter to verify
  25. On the Crown in October there was still a Loyalty officer with a desk outside the Wheelhouse with both am and pm hours. She was the only one who could tell you where you stand on the list for most traveled lunch and she could book cruises. It was a great way to avoid dealing with the new future cruise people
