  1. You never have to book embarkation night dinner in advance. Just call the dine line or go to the venue you want on boarding. They hold out tables for us. We have never had an issue
  2. I haven’t seen an elite/suite line in my last 3 cruises. Just green and blue
  3. Try being through a hurricane on the Sun Princess 2001 of Cabo
  4. Sabatini’s hands down if only for the service alone. It is like having your own private team for breakfast
  5. If the restaurants were not full did you try to get a table ? Odds are they would be able to seat you if it is late evening. We eat after 7:30 and never have an issue
  6. Once again a poster who joined CC years ago but hardly ever posts and now joins the “never sail Princess again crowd”. We were on the Crown for 20 days a few months ago and will board again on the 23rd. No priblems and an awesome crew
  7. 2 different systems. Call room service $5 per order. Use the app $14.95 one time charge and hope the order shows up
  8. Good for you. We got Covid right after the restart and were quarantined on ship and in Canada. It took aover a month to get checks sent to us and that was with our CVP pushing things through for us
  9. Let’s face it whenever you are sailing multiple days crossing either the Pacific or Atlantic oceans you have the possibility of rough seas. That is part of what cruising is all about
  10. If your husband has a credit balance on his casino account make sure and take his medallion to the casino and cash it out.
  11. If you don’t get free cabins you are probably getting a 15% discount with nothing else
  12. Lunch in MDR is always only open on sea days on Princess. It has been that way for years.
  13. That’s strange we do a lot of 16 day cruises and they have always had 16 different dinner menus
  14. Whatever one you choose to go to. Just call the dine line once you are on board and they will set you up in whatever specialty dining you want
  15. Reserve dining is almost always the deck six midship dining room. Grand class ships entrance is to the left Royal class ships entrance to the right
  16. I will tell you we don’t put $10,000 in the machines per trip. Having free play helps and hitting some decent jackpots helps. Occasionally we hit enough to pay off the folios sometimes not. Last cruise I hit 3 $800 majors
  17. We are cruising in18 days. Don’t like making too many plans ahead of time except for a few spa appointments. This is strictly a getaway for some sun
  18. Not all tables are booked online. They always hold some back for people like us who may look at the MDR menu in the morning and don’t see anything that strikes our fancy.
  19. It is all based on points. We each generally hit 10,000!+ over a 10 day cruise more on longer. We probably spend at least 2-3 hours a day in the casino and do not bet max all the time
  20. We always get free balconies and then pay the upgrade to a full suite. Been doing this for years. There are also OBC and free play which really brings the actual cost down
  21. There are very few places on board not covered.by cameras but they are not monitored 24/7
  22. On our 50+ Princess cruises we have never had a problem getting seated at a specialty dining venue after 7:30 or so
  23. Note the 25% discount on bottles of wine applies to plus packages as well. We find the plus works for us as we don’t do photos , most drinks we have are under $15 and we get a free specialty dinner for being in a suite and often get gifted one by the casino
  24. You would still have not been near the stabilizers. If you are used to coastal and Caribbean cruises they are nothing like real ocean 🚢 liners
  25. Can I get a full suite for $4,000 dollars on a 14 day cruise on a casino deal ? That’s for 2 people.
