If the restaurants were not full did you try to get a table ? Odds are they would be able to seat you if it is late evening. We eat after 7:30 and never have an issue
Once again a poster who joined CC years ago but hardly ever posts and now joins the “never sail Princess again crowd”. We were on the Crown for 20 days a few months ago and will board again on the 23rd. No priblems and an awesome crew
Good for you. We got Covid right after the restart and were quarantined on ship and in Canada. It took aover a month to get checks sent to us and that was with our CVP pushing things through for us
Let’s face it whenever you are sailing multiple days crossing either the Pacific or Atlantic oceans you have the possibility of rough seas. That is part of what cruising is all about
I will tell you we don’t put $10,000 in the machines per trip. Having free play helps and hitting some decent jackpots helps. Occasionally we hit enough to pay off the folios sometimes not. Last cruise I hit 3 $800 majors
Not all tables are booked online. They always hold some back for people like us who may look at the MDR menu in the morning and don’t see anything that strikes our fancy.
It is all based on points. We each generally hit 10,000!+ over a 10 day cruise more on longer. We probably spend at least 2-3 hours a day in the casino and do not bet max all the time
We always get free balconies and then pay the upgrade to a full suite. Been doing this for years. There are also OBC and free play which really brings the actual cost down
Note the 25% discount on bottles of wine applies to plus packages as well. We find the plus works for us as we don’t do photos , most drinks we have are under $15 and we get a free specialty dinner for being in a suite and often get gifted one by the casino
Every cruise from the west coast to Hawaii and return always has weather and sea issue a few days out and the last days back. This is to be expected. We cruise this crii I se often and if people would check out reviews they would know to expect it. You are in the middle of the Pacific. Try crossing the Bay of Biscay sometime. That one actually knocked me out of bed
Manaus is in the Amazon region of Brazil and needs more vaccines. Not too many cruise lines go up the Amazon due to recent restrictions. Yes you do need a visa and years ago when I did this the Brazilian embassy in SF kept my passport for 3 weeks. Do everything early to be prepared
