  1. Designate them as traveling companions on the app. Then you can book dining together
  2. Winemakers Dinner 3 courses I believe and not the humongous portions of chefs dinner
  3. That should not be a problem it is easy to keep the cabin and change the plan
  4. My guess is that they will keep all the Skagway excursions and use the fast ferry to move you to Skagway
  5. They are still having them on most ships but without the gallery portion
  6. If you are talking about the Royal leaving on the 20th the Skagway port still shows the Royal in Skagway on the north bound voyage. The southbound from Whittier on the 27th is no longer on that port list and is in the Haines port
  7. Why would you think club class food would be better than MDR it is all from the same kitchen. You do get some extra entree choices some of which are spectacular. What you are really paying for is the no wait great service and more choices but the dishes are cooked by the same people
  8. The ship has to be emptied prior to new cruisers being allowed to board. So there will be a time when everyone must be off ship unless they are b2b passengers who would have gone through there own procedure
  9. My comment had to do with how local venues on the west coast work. It had nothing to do with Princess
  10. Then why did you post pictures of immense lines I have stood in those lines and never again. No one knows if the Royal will even port in Skagway. Even short tender trips can be hellacious. We once took over an hour to tender in Santa Barbara due to sailing lessons near the port and once saw people stuck on tenders in Cabo for hours due to winds. They could not tie up safely to the ship or safely get back to shore
  11. At this point no one knows which ships are actually going to Skagway and which will be diverted but any Royal class ship will take forever to tender. We are going to take a pass and stay on the ship
  12. If you pre book spa treatments you will have to pay at the time with credit card
  13. Pre covid you could only add a drink plan on the first day I doubt things have changed
  14. That changed a long time ago are you going to stay miffed forever ?
  15. This has been known for months and is just a change in wordage people have been claiming they were scammed or misled for all that time.
  16. Any speculation of how things will be in 7 months is just that a guess
  17. I fail to see what being charged for extra drinks has to do with club class dining. It seems the poster is just throwing this statement on every thread they can
  18. We.always follow local customs when it comes to tipping. But the fact is that in many of those countries the prices you pay are higher to account for the higher wages being paid. Believe me you pay one way or the other
  19. How much you can drink is the same with either the Plus or Premier packages. 15 drinks a day. Any bartender can pour you bigger shots and choose whether or not to charge as 1 or 2 drinks. As long as we can get our Manhattans with Bulleit and our martinis with Grey Goose we will be happy. Plus package wines have never been all that great
  20. If you can afford a cruise you can afford a few dollars for tips. As for carting your own bags I can remember multiple people struggling with large bags on the escalators
  21. We always sit a TV the bar and I could look at the bartenders position and our medallions were showing and the fact that we had a package
  22. Then I would not go back to multiple restaurants as you may have extra things added to your soup. Most servers and bartenders get minimum wage and rely on tips so they can go on cruises with you
