  1. I also believe you can have guest services put a daily limit on your child’s medallion so they can buy a soda here or there but not buy that expensive coat they had their eye on
  2. You don’t see these locations on the deck plan it is because the are held in a portion of the buffet kind of like some of the pop ups
  3. T is a package not a pick one from column A etc. we don’t use the desserts or gym classes. However we both have 8+ drinks a day, use WiFi and pay gratuities. Plus we will have a charcuterie plate or 2 and maybe pizza once in awhile. Plus package pays of for us big time and we can get all the espresso drinks and bottles of water we want. The package is not designed for everyone
  4. The smallest steak at the Crown Grill is half a pound. With an app and sides that is plenty for both of us
  5. I believe it is based on average amount of bet times hours spent. We seem to get the same bounce back offers and VIP offers whether we win or lose
  6. Then it seems like you need a new CVP. We had a deposit down on a suite before our bounce back offer came due and yesterday our CVP applied it and the price dropped by over $7,000. The so called cruise consultants are not Princess CVP’s they are a third party vendor who also run the future cruise department on board ships
  7. You might to bring some larger clothes. The pieces of cake will fee 4-5 people
  8. Yes but then you can pay more to skip the lines is that what Princess is now going to do next ?
  9. Per the state of Oregon website tips are not considered wages. The minimum wage varies by location in Oregon not by type of work. Rural areas have a lower minimum wage than urban areas. They range from just under $14 an hour to just under $16 an hour I believe.
  10. When you tip in a restaurant you have no idea how that tip is going to be split up between waiter, bus person, bartender, bar back etc
  11. Last month in the buffet on the Grand cheeses were white and yellow and all tasted alike
  12. Even eating only partial of the humongous desserts every day on a long cruise I would bring some pants and shirts a size larger than you usually wear
  13. Not only surprised but angry. Of course we book plus and our CVP on a call with us today did not ever try to upsell us or even bring up the offer
  14. So according to this unlimited is not unlimited. I can’t wait for the screaming to begin
  15. There is no wait list for suite perks
  16. Full suites are those with designations starting with “S”. On the Regal I believe that would be Penthouses and Premiums
  17. Still unlimited is unlimited or is it not. Are they going to give me a refund every night ?
  18. I personally would not book premier as we only go to those restaurants a few times a cruise. Always on embarkation night which is guaranteed for full suites
  19. That may work for a 7 day cruise but on our 14-21 day cruises the cost becomes prohibitive, we like our full suite balconies and benefits and can’t imagine eating at the Crown Grille 7+ times a cruise. We generally wait and see what the nights menu is and if it is one of the few we don’t care for we will talk to either the Sabatini’s breakfast manager or suite concierge to find us space in a SD. This has never failed us yet Princess knows how to treat their suite guests
  20. So if the times disappear what is Princess going to do when they are advertising “unlimited specialty dining”. Are the going to open venues at 3 for dinner and keep them open to midnight ? I am betting if they don’t limit this package to “X” amount of passengers how much are the willing to refund to people they cannot accommodate ?
  21. We love the charcuterie platter at Vines and on our last 14 days on board we went to Alfredo’s 3times
  22. Do you have refundable deposits on both ?
  23. Be aware that suites usually book fast. If you want to change suites at final payment there may not be anything left
  24. Like I have said before embarkation night is going to be an issue since all full suites get a complimentary speciality dinner that night and many people try and book those as well to avoid the first night dinner chaos We sail suites and do not pre book because the app doesn’t make it easy. We always call as soon as we board to the dine line. Never had an issue before but time will tell
  25. Yes that is the one at Vines that I like. On the grand there are tables with ocean view where you can sip that Zin for an hour or so
