  1. Never heard of a different app and if you are already on board why wouldn’t you just call the dine line or go to the venue to make the reservation
  2. We bring screen shots of the summary mostly to make sure our OBC matches what we see on the app
  3. I think there is a large portion of cruisers who do not drink or carry a phone all the time who would really not get full value with a package. In the bars most people who congregate there have packages but that is a minority of passengers. We sail on longer cruises for the most part and many people do not lay out $60 per day per person over 21 days or so. Also on cruises with lots of families and kids less people seem to have them
  4. Starting with Royal class ships Princess moved the casino bar out of the casino itself. On the Royal it is in Take 5 a non smoking area next to the casino with a door between them
  5. We just buy bottles at dinner with the 25% discount for dinners. Some Prosecco late morning and maybe plus wines in the casino. Vines still has an excellent Zin within the i plus package
  6. All you need is the medallion
  7. There are so many ports on those cruises in the US that you may be able to just ignore WiFi on ship
  8. Size of cabin plus a sofa. If you go reserve mini you would be in reserve dining area with little or no wait for meals
  9. Are you referring to the plus package that includes WiFi, tips and drinks ? That is quite a deal in our experience
  10. Never trust the on board future cruise department They will tell you anything to make a sale
  11. We were able to do that in Vines on the Crown and the Ruby. We sail for 14 days on the Grand July / August. We will see what happens
  12. It really depends on the steward. Some do them once in awhile, some every night and some never
  13. It the case in the bars and casino bottles only. Why are making assumptions regarding the MDR ? Do you go back to the galley often ?
  14. You pack 3 weeks worth of clothes ? We pack 7 days no matter how long the cruise. Send out laundry about every 3-4 days
  15. was this a 7 day cruise or a longer one ? We usually take longer cruises and do not have an issue. The only short ones we take are Alaska b2b cruises which tend to have tons of families who don’t want to eat dinner as late as 8:00
  16. The laundry option is great for us since we only take 7 day cruises if they are at least a b2b. For non drinkers the minibar can be turned into all waters, or sodas
  17. On most Princess cruises we see the most demand for all types of dining from 5:00 to 6:00. If you prefer to eat later like we do there is much less demand. For the MDR we usually see lines starting by 4:30. Also the more families the less demand most people are not going to get premier for kids or lay out $35 + for a specialty dinner
  18. Not in my experience we have been able to book specialty dinners while on board and sometimes just walking in after 7:30. This was true on every cruise we have taken since the restart. No real difference since premier started. We see more plus packages than premiers.
  19. But once they are elite and if they are light drinkers they would get a mini bar or in a suite 2 minibars
  20. You do know this is about a theater presentation and not nature ?
  21. Please do not book with future cruise department. They will tell you anything to sell you a cruise. We will not even walk into their office anymore
  22. The price point really makes a difference. Too much money to be fsncy
  23. In Vines you can share a charcuterie plate. We have done it on 3 different ships. The Gastropub is a different animal
  24. Really in an inclusive menu ? It not my like you are ordering separate plates on a ship
