  1. For me, it's LeBistro every time. I did not care for Ocean Blue at all when we were on Encore this past October. I thought the menu was very bland and uninspired. Cagneys has gone downhill over the years in my opinion. The meat quality is not what it was pre-pandemic.
  2. I haven't seen Howl at the Moon on any ships since Escape unfortunately. Definitely one of my favorites.
  3. Man, I hit the jackpot with this review! Not only will I be on Prima next month, but I will also be staying at the Springhill Suites for a night before the cruise. Will be driving up from Ft. Lauderdale area though, so thankfully get to avoid that shuttle/cab ride from MCO.
  4. Don't think they do discounts on the first day anymore. Your best bet is to book online prior to boarding to lock in their best price.
  5. Sid! Long time, Brother! Made my day seeing you'll be doing a review of Prima. I'll be on Prima with the Fam March 19th. Might have some questions for you while onboard if you don't mind.
  6. I'd checkout Wynwood. Lots of cool restaurants and art galleries that are unique to Miami. Check out the Museum of Graffiti.
  7. Early January is perfect time to take an airboat tour in the Everglades. Completely unique ecosystem that is a must see if you're from across the pond. Highly recommend the Gator Boys at Everglades Holiday Park.
  8. What day of the week and time of the year are you coming? The answer to your question can vary greatly depending on what's happening in town at any given time ie. Spring Break, Conventions, Art Basel, FLL Air Show, Urban Beach Week, etc.
  9. If you are in a standard cabin, yes 100% If you are in Haven, the Haven Restaurant is as good if not better than the specialty offerings.
  10. They're flying to Canada which is a PIA so more time needed.
  11. You should be fine as long as you get off the ship by 8am. Make sure you have a reputable car service booked. The Miami/Ft. Lauderdale Ports of Call boards have lots of information on the best car services.
  12. Upgrade to the Premium Plus package if you're in the Haven. Bartenders usually have a few special bottles behind the bar that you won't find anywhere else.
  13. I've been in the hospitality industry for 25 years. There are no tools/connections that a Travel Agent has that you as the direct consumer does not. You can get the same things done directly as long as you know who to contact. I highly recommend booking direct to avoid issues such as this one.
  14. NCL has done your Daughter a big favor here. I live in Florida and can tell you that chances are their flight will be delayed coming from the West Coast in March. Flying in a day early is the best thing that could happen to them. Honestly, with the current state of the airline industry I'd advise flying in 2 days early.
  15. Firstly, sorry that you have to deal with this inconvenience. However, I do have to ask a silly question, why book with a Travel Agent at all? What is the benefit of adding an extra step in the booking process?
  16. I'm a drinker and my wife isn't, however we get great value out of the ultimate beverage package. The Acqua Panna, Starbucks, bottled water, and Premium Spirits make it a no brainer for us. Never added up my drinks over the course of a cruise like the OP, but I'd venture to say it's probably somewhere around the same amount.
  17. Sorry this happened to you, but I have to agree with the others that these types of issues are well documented on these boards. Moving forward you should speak to a local insurance agent that you trust who can recommend Travel Insurance that works for you. NCL's insurance offerings are overpriced and cover very little.
  18. I've been on 3 cruises over the last year. 2 NCL and 1 RCCL, food was easily better on both NCL ships vs. RCL. RCL food outside of the specialty restaurants was absolutely awful.
  19. Was on Escape for the Eagles SB win a few years ago. The game was on every TV in every public place including the Haven Lounge.
  20. NCL usually has only 2 ships sailing out of Miami in the Summer months. Sky and 1 other Breakaway Class ship in recent years.
  21. I've been on 3 cruises post COVID and surprisingly have not gotten sick after any of them. As much as people will disagree, I do think the additional sanitizing measures that the industry has put in place are working as well as they can.
  22. Howdy All, Have an Owner's Suite booked on the Prima in March and was wondering if anyone has the list of benefits and liquor menu? Thanks!
