Unless it has changed recently, once boarded you cannot get back off. You can normally drop off bags from 9am and boarding normally starts closer to 11am. Perhaps drop your bags explore and check in later. -
Do you have any medical conditions to declare re, the ones not normally covered (43), You should be fine if you just get a quote for your trip to the US and add the cruise option. Or just call a couple of insurance companies and outline your trip for a verbal quote.

It was a shame, especially for all the people who have never visited before. We love Dunedin and have been numerous times but missing the port is still a disappointment.

We missed Dunedin yesterday on the Noordam due to high winds, tried 4 times but with such a narrow entrance through to Port Chalmers it was not to be.

Perhaps but if you did Doubtful Sound chances are you did Thompson Sound and Lake Astelia as well. Likewise with Dusky Sound as you would also do Breaksea Sound and the Acheron passage.

Whether or not the weather we are getting is due to climate change is no comfort for those whose lives and properties are affected adversely. The biggest difference is who to blame for increased intensity, frequency and numbers of the weather events and how we can go about reducing the catalysts that cause these events.

No, can walk reasonably normal, slight limp, but it is still swelling up a lot and gets sore by the afternoon. We had a 2pm check in and walked straight on as we had missed the lunchtime rush.
