We never stay in suites and we're Emerald status. I'm not complaining. All of our cruises have been wonderful with diet cokes and the occasional adult beverage, for me anyway. One bottle of Moscato is enough for me for the entire cruise. The last time Jack had an alcoholic drink was many years ago. Happy Graduation to Ryan. Hope that tornado watch doesn't turn into a tornado warning!

My sister had a whistling tea kettle that sounded like the tornado siren when water started to boil. Once she had some friends over and the minute the kettle "sounded" they all jumped up wild eyed yelling OMG TORNADO!!

Everything is fine! No hail damage. No rain/extreme storms at least for the next 10 days, low 90s. Truth be told, I'm not a big drinker. In fact, I had 5 alcoholic drinks TOTAL during the 7-night Bella cruise. One of course one was a kraken colada in honor of @Sea Dog Greg.

Sitting here in fear of yet another tornado watch/severe Tstorms/hail until 10:30pm Central time. 30 more minutes to go. This makes 3x in one week and that's 3x too much. I invited 2 single neighbors to come join me and Jack earlier for a bit but they've been in Texas for over 30 years and are used to this severe weather. Jack and I are here in TX 19-1/2 years and we will never get used to it. Never! @sgmn Sue, Your pictures are gorgeous. Great place to babysit. @singinalot Crystal, please keep those pictures coming and continue to have a great time. @lenquixote66 Lenny good luck with your poem Jack fell asleep and I'm going to calm my nerves with ice cream. Great excuse, right?

Thanks Maryann! So far severe weather watch is until 9pm. It's now 8:42, calm, no rain. I'm thankful we were in a "watch" and not a "warning". I still can't believe our car had no hail damage from the last storm. It came down so hard I thought our windows would crack. The following is the updated current forecast: A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 9 PM CDT for the areas shaded. The main threat will be large hail up to 3 inches (baseball size) and damaging winds up to 70 mph. Continue to monitor the weather tonight and stay weather aware!

More severe weather coming our way until 9pm tonight. Severe thunderstorms, large hail, possible tornadoes, the trifecta of North Texas weather. No car damage from hail a few days ago. I wish we were where @A&L_Ont Andrew and family are!

Just had some bad usual TX weather. Tornado siren and hail stopped...sigh. I hope our car that's parked outside isn't damaged. Hopefully @GeorgeC @firefly333 and @TravelGirlinDallas are safe with no damage. Roofers do very well here after a hail storm. 🤨

Dani, saying I look forward to meeting you on Bella 2 would be an understatement!! Jack is looking forward to it also! I hope it works out for you and DH and meanwhile you have a wonderful cruise meeting up with your cousin. I know you all will have the best time.

Remember, Bella 01 was during Spring break. I never encountered bad behavior by these kids. Although very evident around the ship, no kids running amok in the WJ, pressing elevator buttons or disrupting anything we were engaged in. We were busy having a great cruise. Just our perception. We enjoyed going to Solarium for breakfast and I too would be unhappy if it was closed to us. Park Cafe was always quiet and Central Park a lovely, quiet oasis. After all we WERE on the Oasis for Bella 01. 😃 As far as Yeshiva week, I would try to avoid any cruise with a large group. I prefer having all venues open to me.

I was just in the "humor" thread now located in Floataway Lounge. I don't know why people complain that they won't go in there anymore because it takes too much time to hunt it down. I have the threads I go in regularly listed in my favorite places. Not hard to find at all. I also do not understand why posters who never posted in here ask if THIS thread will be transferring to Floataway Lounge. I think we have posters in here that for some reason cannot post in Floataway. That would make me sad. The reason I'm posting in here and not "there" is because this is my comfort zone.

Hope your sun burn isn't too painful. Knowing how well prepared you always are, I'm sure you have something in your bag of tricks to take away some of that unpleasant burn. I know aloe works well. I wonder if their version of cream is the real deal or just a coffee lightener like coffee mate?
