Everything looks delicious but then your husband is an amazing cook.. My mom always made hard boiled eggs to eat with the fish broth. Is that chulent I see? Challah (I have heard it called "egg bread") makes the best french toast. Yes, begins with the letter N and ends with a K. I had no choice. It was where my doctor performed surgeries. This was approx. 32 years ago. Nurses were awful. No warmth or compassion. Seemed resentful having to take care of me. I got great care here in TX and I like to think the NY nurses (or aides) were the exception. I have no idea how this duplicate popped up in here.

Kidney stone pain is awful. I know from experience. Sorry you had to wait so long. I had a bad experience in my local NY hospital years ago, I kept puking so Jack drove me to the ER. where I had to sit in the waiting room in pain and continuing to puke. I went to the ladies room and stayed there for quite a while. Jack told me he was going to tell the ER waiting room clerk that he was leaving but hid outside waiting to see what would happen. As soon as he walked out the door, they came and got me to settle me into one of the ER cubicles. Jack then returned. Maybe they take more time to get you help if you come in with someone as opposed to coming in alone. The NY hospital we went to was not a busy one in the city, but one in the suburbs. In all the instances Jack and I had to unfortunately visit a TX hospital ER, we never once had to sit in a waiting room before being seen.

What a wonderful creative start. It's evident why you were awarded those Emmys. Carry on!

PB is our go to beach when in Cozumel (ala carte). Love their nachos. However, last time, 2018 or 2019 it felt much more crowded with lounge chairs pushed close together. All were cruise passengers and I felt like I was ON the cruise ship. We might give it one more go on our Bella cruise. I think what we need here is a cooling system for car seats and steering wheels. Blasting AC before settling in is just too time consuming. Coming from NY, I laugh when I see folks here bundled up in down jackets/hats/gloves when the temp "drops" to the 50s. In the 19 years I've been in TX, I wore my down jacket less than 10 times. I'd like to keep it that way!

My friend has 3 grandkids. Hair color all different. One is red, one is blond and one brown. Both sets of the kids grandparents have/had brown hair, kids parents both brown hair, kids aunts/uncles brown hair although one aunt has a slight reddish tint in her mostly brown hair so we thought 1) fed ex guy, 2) plumber, 3) mailman. They really are a beautiful family. I am NOT bored. Please carry on to completion.

Scotty P's is in Plano, Frisco, Allen and McKinney. I've seen Snuffer's but never ate there. Coming from a Rhode Island guy, your Southern-ese is quite impressive! It took me a long time after moving to TX to figure it all out. I always say you all or all of you. I can't wrap my head around saying y'all (you ALL) to just one person. I still have a lot of NY in me. 😉

Have you ever eaten burgers at Scotty P's? They grind their own meat and the burgers are thick and juicy. My words exactly! We totally, absolutely LOVE Braums. We're there at least once a week. It's the only place I have vanilla ice cream. So creamy, smooth and has a better taste than other vanilla ice cream.

I can't wait for your review but sad it will mean your cruise is over. Carry on and continue to enjoy. Yes, I remember those diners as well. New City diner was on 303 and I do remember Janet Hogan's Diner on 59, W. Nyack. That area on 59 always flooded after a heavy rain. I remember those multi page menus at most diners. Amazing selection. Their cake slices were huge. We also frequented the Ramapo diner in Suffern. No longer there. So much fun remembering Rockland County. I lived there from 1976 until 2003. Wonderful, happy years.
