  1. I respectfully disagree, Snow Crab and King Crab in Alaska are better.
  2. You cannot do it via the web site. In order to upgrade a drink package or to get your Elite discount, you need to call Celebrity or have your TA do upgrade for you. Here is what non-alcoholic beverages are included in the Classic package (from the description of the Classic package in Cruise Planner) Zero Proof: Acqua Panna water, Evian water, San Pellegrino, Premium coffees, Red Bull & Editions, Sodas, Premium teas, Vitamin water, Bottled Iced Teas, Aqua Spa Fresh Juices, Zero Proof Cocktails Frozen & Non-Frozen

  4. We have one just like this that we got from our room steward many years ago. I keep it in my backpack and have, knock wood, no issues with TSA or Royal/Celebrity Security.
  5. Most of the drinks are showing $10.99 or $14.00. There are a couple at $8.99 or $9.99 Not sure why prices are not showing in your app. What ship and date are you on?
  6. Did you check any other bars. Schooner Bar is not showing under my Harmony sailing and not all of the bars show a drink menu but Bolero's, Casino Royale, Dazzle and a few others do.
  7. Open the Royal Caribbean app. Select your ship/cruise and go to "Dining" In Dining look at the top and find "Bars & Lounges" .. Select a bar or lounge and look at Menu. A la carte prices for drinks are show there.
  8. Here is a place to get more information https://www.celebritycruises.com/things-to-do-onboard/onboard-packages/beverage-packages/compare-packages
  9. Go to the Celebrity App for your cruise. Select Dining. For wines select dining, Main Dining, and your restaurant. Look under menu and select wine. Classic is any wine by the glass up to $10. Premium is any wine by the glass up to $14. There is no guarantee that all the wines listed will be available. For Bar drink menu's, under Dining select Bars and Lounges and look at the Menu for each one. Again, any drink up to $10 is included in the Classic package, any drink up to $14 is in the Premium package.
  10. Yes, but it depends on where you live relative to those airports. I can get from my door to the parking garage at Dulles in 20-25 minutes. Washington National (Reagan) and BWI are much farther. It normally takes me a hour from my door to my gate/United Club at Dulles. It would take me longer than that to drive to either of the other two airports. When we first moved to this area we lived in Germantown, MD and it from there it was equal distance & time to get from our house to any of the three airports. I have flown United, Delta, and American over the years and have found that with very few exceptions, United offers the flights, service, and quality that meets my needs.
  11. But at least he was on the cruises regardless of who signed the bills. Very different from someone who has never cruised and but get their parents or partner's status on their first cruise.
  12. Actually the title is "Any test ..." he just mentioned someone telling him a Flu tests was required.
  13. The issue we find is that of availability, especially given supply chain issues that have been and are still being experienced. While there are a number of wines listed, not all of them are always available.
  14. If you set your expectations to zero, you will never be disappointed.
  15. I no longer think they are. I just looked at some photo's on CruiseDeckPlans.com and I believe I was wrong. The balcony's look like they are the same size. The arrangement of the furniture in the other pictures I found online made me think they were different.
  16. In Plan My Cruise, Select Drinks ... go to the bottom and look for these
  17. I have had inconsistent results with SkyClass. I sometimes get an email and I sometimes do not.
  18. You are in a suite. Go when you are ready. You can get checked in early and Suites are among the first to be allowed to board when the ship is cleared for boarding.
  19. Love you signature. I think I should change mine to "I waited until I retired and now I wish I had more money for cruising"
  20. We are scheduled to sail on Millennium in #6100 and given the option, I would take 6128 or 6130 due to the larger balconies. Here are photo's I found of the balcony for #6128 on Summit
  21. I have flown out of IAD for 30 cruises so far and have not experienced but one multi-hour delay. I consider us lucky but at my age, a 14-hour drive would take three days. I already have flight reservations for this years cruises out of Florida but will keep the autotrain in mind for future sailings out of Florida.
  22. I would not recommend answering No to the first two questions unless it is true. Pre-cruise COVID testing is still required for cruises "from the U.S. and Caribbean that visit Colombia Transatlantic Cruises Cruises from Australia."
  23. Now that is what I would call an example of the "good ol' days." Another from my past was a place named Catfish King's == All the fried catfish and hushpuppies you could eat for $1.25. They had a special once for $1.99 for all the fried shrimp and hushpuppies. I tried to eat them out of business. It was right across the street from where I was going to High School..
  24. The one thing I wish I could find cooked correctly on a cruise ship is grits. Every time I have ordered them they have been served very watery. Even the ones I tried years ago in the buffet were watery. I grew up on eggs over easy / sunny side up, country ham, grits, and butter milk biscuits. That to me is breakfast. Continental breakfast is pastries and fruit. Not that big a fan of suites. I can and have gotten by on a toasted sliced bagel with cream cheese or crunchy peanut butter. However, that is still not what I consider a full breakfast. Meat and eggs are required IMHO.
  25. We use a Costco Citi card like others. Change almost everything except hotels (Chase Marriott Rewards) and airlines (Chase United Club). I also have the Bank of America Royal Caribbean card and I use to use it but since I use the Costco card for so many other things I stopped using the Royal card. Since I retired this year I am not traveling for work any longer, I am considering cancelling the Marriott and United cards.
