  1. Looking at prices, shows a price BUT that price they show is only good on the 1st day of the cruise when you embark. All the prices on later days are much higher. Is that always the way the prices are shown on the Cruise Planner for the Spa...........Sounds like a crappy way to advertise their prices. What Couples Massage do you think is best to do?
  2. Need Pics please. Have you scoped out where the Washers and Dryers will be installed. Does the current crew onboard know anything about the WC coming up? Wonder what the percentage of crew onboard now will be on the ship for the WC?

  4. Was just at that airport last week , returning a rental car and flying back home. Walked right by where people were getting picked up after getting their bags. There were a line of taxi's and cars waiting right outside where the doors are to outside. Now I'm not sure if those cars were actually waiting for people that had all ready hired them or just cars waiting outside for anyone that needed a ride to somewhere. I would either call or email the airport and ask just how that taxi service there works outside the baggage claim area, might be easier then dealing with a uber. 5. I think that might depend where the prices go in the future. We are booked in 2025 refundable, will decide later after reviews if we go on it or not. Pretty sure either way it would be a one and done for us.
  6. Seemed a little planned for the 3 you did find that each is in 3 different seasons reflecting the differences in prices. Summer, Fall and Winter. Not sure what other 2 dates you found later were, like this was a test to see just what people are willing to pay for one of these cabins for 1 week.
  7. Correct, I got the day wrong by 1 day..............30th to June 11th, our second cruise starts on June 13th, ends on June 22nd.
  8. Is this the May 31st sailing in 2024, if so we have that cruise booked. 🙂 2 days after that one ends we will be sailing out of Barcelona doing a 9 night Western Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Equinox which ends in Rome.
  9. Keep an eye on those 5 weeks, after it gets down to 2 or 3 available , just see if any new dates open up?
  10. I don't know, there always someone else to come along. Only takes takes one.
  11. Do you believe everything you see is available is all that is available or just a ploy to see so few available making people book them in fear they may not be able to get one........Once that supply goes and then open up other weeks?
  12. Wonder how much of what comes out of Bayley's mouth is the truth? or is he just trying to drum up more business?
  13. Doesn't sound to private with people peeking over the fence and those trying to get in your back yard to play on your ping pong table. "Down the steps into the backyard, you’ll find a ping pong table and some cosy seats, along with a white picket fence which opens straight into the Surfside neighbourhood on the ship, so you’ve got easy access to the splash areas and many of the best family-friendly features on the ship."
  14. After you get back from your cruise where you spent $75,000 for a cabin. Go straight to here.
  15. Rather put in a built in pool in the back yard and make my own oasis..........where I can enjoy it for lot more then 1 week. $75,000 for 1 week, Ridiculous !
  16. I think this ship is really focused on young families that have loads of $$$ to spend on all the extra things on this ship rather then the "Old" people on fixed incomes who hardly end up with anything on their sea pass card at the end of their cruise. Built this ship to make money, not have happy families with kids walking around the ship saying wow, I'm getting such good value here. "I want to cruise on this ship again".
  17. We did something like this once, but traveling the other way...........Stayed at a ParkNFly near Newark Airport. Flew to San Juan, got on a Repo on Empress of the Seas(2003), at that time they did port right in downtown Manhattan, NYC..............Then from there we got an Uber to take us back to the hotel where our car was at and then drive back home to South Jersey. It's a full day traveling for sure. Yours might be a little easier, ending up at Newark Airport, ours ending up in the City, we ended up dealing with ALOT more traffic then you will from EWR to Bayonne. When we did this I don't even think the Bayonne Port(1st sailing 2004) was even there at that time, this was a long time ago.
  18. Case in point, Size does matter !! One is a cruise ship and the other is a floating city/hotel/amusement park. Icon will be even larger 😞
  19. I would try room service on that ship. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/content/dam/royal/resources/menus/room-service-menu-sample.pdf
  20. Like the itinerary Royal has better then the Carnival one. Looked at a few You Tube videos , for those that been to Greenland before. What's up with all the bugs flying around is that normal? Any months worse then others?
  21. Noticed today when looking on the Air2Sea site was able to actually search a find flights flying out a day ahead of the cruise and it brought up selections for me to pick. I thought you had to call Air2Seas to fly in a day or 2 ahead of your cruise date. But right now that does not seem to be the case. My question now is though, the cruise I have booked is suppose to have an Air discount of $200 - $500 depending on the kind of tickets you reserve......My question now is do I have to call them to make sure I'm getting the discount............or is the discount all ready figured into the price I'm seeing. I used the just looking link at flights and the price was indeed higher, but only like $150 in total for 2 tickets higher...........Not like $400 higher like I was expecting..........So I'm still confused how the Royal air discounts are figured in to the prices I'm seeing.
  22. TNN Airport is nice, enjoyed the Sky Lounge before our outgoing flight. A drink and some pub food. It's a very small Airport easy get into and out of............Just I wouldn't take a Frontier Flight out of it again for reasons I mentioned earlier.
  23. I would advise against using Frontier from TNN.............We used them once back in January 2020 before Covid from TNN to Sarasota, FL Flight down was fine, get to the airport and our flight home was cancelled for some unknown reason. No one at the Frontier Counter to get us on another flight either. They tell you to call a phone number for help. Which no one answers. So there we are in the terminal searching for a return flight and we full well know none or going to Trenton anytime soon. Next thing to do was to just look for flights to Newark Airport in North Jersey, then we would have to take a $100 Uber back to pick up our Car in Trenton. It was a nightmare and very long travel day............. Then the fight with Frontier to get compensated for the Tickets we had to purchase last minute to get home that night plus the Uber Fare. Took months to get just SOME of the money back.........Never again will we fly with Frontier..........Most sad part about all this , There was no one at the Frontier Counter in Sarasota to help anyone with trying to find new flights home. Very poor Customer Service. Budget Airline for sure cancelled flights, you are on your own Beware !
