  1. Thank you so much for all of the info and photos!!! Has the Reserve Collection Dining Room been busy, crowded? How has the service been in the RC Dining Room? TIA 🙂
  2. If you book a cruise onboard, you can still have it assigned to your TA. The same Future Cruise folks also took over the onboard Captain Circle duties. And, they are also the same company that manages the upgrade bid process.
  3. Does the mini-suite in the photos look narrower than the current mini's on the other Princess ships or is it just the orientation of the photos???
  4. We avoid all cabins under the buffet or pools. Our standard rule is to always have cabins above and below us.
  5. Thank you for taking the time to write your detailed report. We have been on one "O" cruise about 10 years ago. We went with friends that cruise once a year on "O." We had an okay time, but for the cost of the 10-day cruise we could have cruised on Princess for at least 20 days. In the end, we did not find it cost effective to cruise again with them.
  6. Since my retirement in 2010 and minus the Covid stoppage, we have been cruising 75 to 100 days per year. We like cruises of around 30 to 50 days in length. Debbie has me on a restriction of no more than 60 consecutive days away from home. Life is to short to stay home!
  7. We had similar experience at the last few M&G's we attended. We were so embarrassed! Needless to say we no longer attend M&G's.
  8. @Astro Flyer We tried several different items from the menu. Our favorites were the Nicoise Salad (photo below), Grilled Swordfish, Crab Cakes, Dover Sole (5 stars!), and the Mussels. The Nicoise Salad is almost a meal in itself. Also, the Profiteroles (called something else on the menu) was by far the best dessert (photo below). You can get them filled with Vanilla gelato or Chantilly cream. We will be on the Majestic, 33-days, Sydney to Seattle embarking on April 10th.
  9. On our recent Med/TA, 26-day cruise on the Enchanted we dined at "The Catch" five times. It was by far the best meals we have had on a ship in a VERY long time! While you are enjoying "The Catch" on the Discovery, we will be doing the same on the Majestic! Have a great cruise! 🙂
  10. The glass of sparkling wine upon arrival to your cabin is a perk of the Reserve Collection Mini-suites. It is brought to you upon boarding by your Room Steward. Trust me when I say that the stuff is not drinkable. Yuck! You are better off going to one of the bars and using your Premier package for a "real" glass of Champagne. 🥂
  11. We will be back on the Majestic on Dec 1st for 51 days, LA to Ft Lauderdale via South America. We'll keep her clean for you! 🙂
  12. FWIW, today I finally downloaded the new app on my phone, my tablet, and also on my DW's phone. Everything was exactly where it should be and we are green on all of our 9 upcoming voyages thru March of 2026. I'm glad we did not have any of the early issues. Happy Camper here! 🙂
  13. Btw, keep her tidy as we will board the Majestic on April 10th!
  14. We have met Chef Rudi twice now while onboard a Princess ship. He is extremely approachable and charismatic. Hopefully, his enthusiasm for great cuisine will "infect" the onboard Executive Chef's!
  15. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency during our 2019 stay in Sydney. Very nice hotel. We always use Blacklane.com for our international rides (and sometimes in the U.S.). They have a great app. We have them reserved for our April 4th arrival in Sydney.
  16. We have had quite a few international trips during the past few years. We have not had any issues with our meds, whether in the original bottles or not. If not, just photo copy the label from the bottle and tape it to the baggie (or whatever you are using) you are using. And, we always take a photo on our phones of the label on the original bottle. Have a great trip! 🙂
  17. Great! Call your TA or whomever you use to book your cruises. Hopefully, you can refare. If not, canceling and making a new booking is also a possibility.
  18. As previously mentioned, westbound is the way for us! You get to catch up on the time change and much shorter flight home. 🙂
  19. We are booked on the same cruise, but in April of 2025.
