Same here, as we board the Emerald tomorrow and have quite a few bookings thru the end of 2025. 🙂

We have been to Messina many times, the last time was this past November (we will be there again this November on the Enchanted). It is a quaint town to walk around, a bit hilly in places. My DW's favorite part of town is just a few blocks north of the port. It is a very nice shopping district with many cafe's and restaurants. Also, as you exit the cruise terminal you will find lots of taxi's if you want to take a excursion. We have hired taxi's several times to visit Taormina and Mt Etna.

If I'm not mistaken these amounts are not new, they have been in place for quite some time. 🤷‍♂️

Having been on several inaugural cruises in the past, we now like to wait a year before trying a new ship.

They have gone thru so many changes since the restart that I gave up trying to keep up with the musical chairs. Hence, we send letters directly to JP. 🙂 I should add that we know for sure that the crew members and their superiors onboard have received copies of our letters and that it has helped them with assignments, promotions and even free excursions.
