I just booked February 2025 and there was no option for PIF discount. Agent said there is not talk of bringing it back. 🤬 -

Received an email "Celebrity President Laura Hodges Bethge wants to hear from you". Asked if they plan on rethinking how they charge their loyal solo sailors. I'm sure it will not be addressed.

I know we've been paying it all along, but does nobody here think that paying 200% is also absurd? When I tell people that I pay for two passengers when I cruise solo, they are dumbfounded. It seems like Celebrity made us so angry about paying more than 200% that we have no choice now but to be HAPPY about the 200% for a solo sailor. Gaslighting?

Grrrrr. Next sailing is Feb 20. I didn't get one onboard Christmas week because I thought I could do it online after. Apparently that is only if you buy one onboard THEN you can still buy more after your sailing. -

I'm curious too. Mine expires in August 2024. They want you to send in your old passport. I just completed the application and had my photos taken this week, but then it dawned on me that I would need my passport for a February sailing and an April sailing. I'm not sure now when to send in the renewal.

I'm not sure if it is related, but I am set to sail a week from today. I've been trying all of this past week to set up my payment account. Error message each time. At this point I figure I'll just have to do it at check-in.

I typically stay on deck 6 and most of the obstructions are from looking down, with possibly some equipment looking out. I might not have very high expectations, but I have never been disappointed by my view. One photo is a bit dark, but you could see where the lifeboat is and an overhang. The other is not Celebrity, but I circled the equipment that could possibly be in your view.l

I have actually never seen them used for classes on any ship. I have only seen them in the main gym for all to use (if you have an account). They use the Technogym bikes if I remember correctly. It wouldn't make sense to use Peloton for a group class since the classes are streamed from the individual bike's screen.

As of my last sailing, the bikes used for classes are not Peloton.
