It was on Reflection in November and should be fleet wide. You just pay for any baggage fees.
Thanks for the quick reply.

Is luggage valet service complimentary on the Equinox for the Royal Suite and the Celebrity Suite?

Before you buy vanilla products in Mexico spend a little time researching what you are probably buying. A good source of info is www.vanillaqueen.com

We have booked a Royal Suite on Equinox for our April6 cruise. How does one make early reservations for specialty restaurants prior to the cruise?
One of the perks of the RS is unlimited specialty dining. But I am concerned that all of the available time slots will be booked pre-cruise by people that are paying for their specialty bookings.
I really do not want to make bookings and pay for them and then go through the hassle of getting them refunded on the ship.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Mark

Funny story.
Years ago, we had a training seminar, out of town. A group of 30 people, mostly guys and 5 women. One of my friends, (woman) was on the phone with her husband when we were scheduled to go to dinner. A couple of the guys went to her room to get her to go to dinner. While she was finishing her phone call with her husband, a couple of the guys unscrewed the peephole and reinstalled it backwards. She saw them doing it, but didn't give it much thought. When we returned to the motel, you could see the light shining through the reversed peephole like a spotlight. Well, when she got into her room, she tried to unscrew the peephole in order to reinstall it correctly, but they had tightened it too much and she could not get it undone.
Her solution? She put a Band-Aid over the peephole. She thought that she had outsmarted the guys. The next day on the van going to our meeting she was bragging about how she had outsmarted the guys.
That was fine, but I reminded her that Band-Aids had small perforations in the plastic that allowed the skin to breathe, and, with the peephole, reversed, the guys would be able to still see into her room. (You really couldn't)
She was shocked, realizing that they might have gotten the best of her. It was pretty funny for the rest of the morning as the perpetrators tried to convince her that they had seen it all. When we got back to the motel that evening, the perpetrators went to her room and reversed it back to normal. We still laugh about it to this day.

RCCL does take feedback seriously. The other day I wrote an E-mail to Mr. Bayley with my observation about some conditions on a couple of ships. He responded to my note within 5 minutes ( I believe he was onboard Harmony at the time for the President's Cruise). He agreed with my observation and directed one of his staff to address the matter. The next day I got a very nice follow up from the Executive VP for Marine Operations addressing the matter and providing me with photo evidence that the matter was being addressed. A polite and friendly letter will definitely get their attention.

It has been reported by several posters that RCCL is starting to keep your Seapass card when you exit the ship on the last morning?
Why are they doing that?

About handicap access to Chef's Table. They take you from the library around to a crew door on the port side of the ship. There is a crew elevator in that area that they use to take you up to the deck where the actual Chef's Table is located. You then come into the room from the port side, right where they bring in the food from the galley.
-
John,
Can handicapped, suite guests use that crew elevator to get up to the suite deck?

I believe that American Icon is being used for MTD. Is that not correct?

Unfortunately, the dining room management often change the table numbers around, so a previous arrangement list may not be much help. It would be advisable to visit the dining room early on boarding day, find your table, and if it is unacceptable to you, make a request to change it. They will make every effort to acommodate you.

Deck 8 on Oasis class is our deck of choice.

So, it's been a decade since I've cruised (we will be on harmony in a few weeks though!)... I can't remember... but are the ice machines kept on lockdown? We can't just go fill a bucket when we want?
No, you cannot go and fill your own ice bucket.

Quality laugh material! :)
Were you feeling "melon-choly"?

I have found on Oasis and Allure when the coffee machines were out of service, the problem was that no one was emptying the waste coffee grounds. Two or three days into the cruise and it was full and coffee machine OOS. Asked the Concierge about it, he emptied the waste grounds, and the machine was back in service.

It’s hard to follow the rules when the White Russians get you!
Where is Robert Mueller when we need him? Collusion with the Russians?:p

We are eagerly awaiting your posts. We are on Harmony in four weeks, along with Andrew and Lisa.
