  1. You are right. Odyssey and Spectrum probably don’t have it. We’ll find out next year πŸ™‚ For me it’s unfortunately not the worst change for this class…
  2. 1) Voyager, Explorer, Navigator, Mariner, Adventure Freedom, Liberty, Independence have full-size outside promenade (but not teak) 2) Quantum, Anthem, Ovation, Odyssey, Spectrum have outside seating behind buffet. in terms of Solariums … First group has no roof solariums Second has most beautiful and unique among any cruise ship indoor Solariums. We live there πŸ™‚ Unfortunately Ovation and Oasis (Allure, Symptoms, Harmony, Wonder) classes don’t have Viking Crown Lounges.
  3. My dear husband makes me (as a phone addict) check our account charges from time to time. We only buy drinks in bars and in person though.
  4. We used to book maybe up to 3-4 cruises ahead, now we have 7 and are watching 3 more. All from Bayonne and Baltimore though. We don’t cruise during summers except for cruises attached to Memorial and Labor Day. We feel we got pricing we won’t get after. Insides for Thanksgiving 2023 and January 2024 on Anthem are more expensive than obstructed balconies we got.
  5. Are suite vouchers a thing? I thought it was unlimited.
  6. We never prepay autogratuities. No reason to have money tied before cruise, especially as we often have 4-10 cruises booked. We just let them charge our cc during cruises. It is never a problem as we pay balance on cc every month so money are always available.
  7. My exact feelings. If we have balcony we use it only for pre-dinner drink ... but only because we have balcony and need to use it somehow other than to dry my swimming wear faster ! πŸ™‚ At home we have large beautiful backyard and porch which are greatly underused because if we have a free time we rather go somewhere (ocean, city, etc) than just sit there. I was always imagining what happens if I am in some high suite... I would be torn as I will still want to be mostly in Solarium (especially on ships like Anthem), listen to music somewhere in Boleros, playing shuffleboard etc.
  8. They have windows though. That’s what confused me πŸ™‚
  9. What is Central Park interiors? I know Central Park balconies, but interiors?
  10. So there is no chance you sail with any other line other than RCI, right? I do not remember promenades on any...
  11. On the smallest (now) Vision class I LOVE Centrum There is almost ALWAYS music there and you can see ocean even when inside unlike Voyager class and lager. πŸ™‚
  12. I love largest ships, but Oasis class and Quantum class ships do not have Viking Crown lounge which Freedom, Voyager, Radiance, Vision classes have ... Perfect for sailaways I miss it greatly when sail on largest ships. So every class has pros and cons
  13. Quantum class does not have watershow. Only Oasis class has those. Quantum class has Broadway shows. Also Quantum class has a special venue called two70 with a very unique shows. Quantum class has amazing venue for kids called Seaplex with bumper cars, all kinds of sports and many other things. Quantum class has Skydiving. It is a very different class of ships. Aside from Solarium for adults it also has indoor pool (Except for Odyssey where this pool is also open)
  14. Will you absolutely avoid Quantum class? Quantum, Anthem, Ovation, Odyssey ? They are great ships larger than Voyager class and with the best Solariums
  15. Our cruises in 2022: Anthem (9 days South Caribbean) - Enchantment (Vision class) (12 days South Caribbean) - Oasis - Adventure (Voyager class) - Anthem 2023: Anthem (11 days South Caribbean) - Enchantment (12days South Caribbean) - Liberty (Bermuda) - Liberty (NE/Canada) - Anthem (Thanksgiving , Florida/Bahamas) 2024: Anthem (11 days South Caribbean) - Vision (12 days South Caribbean)- Symphony - Liberty - Odyssey (Thanksgiving , Florida/Bahamas) 2025: Odyssey (11 days South Caribbean) - Vision (11 days South Caribbean) - Symphony - whoever will cruise to NE/Canada probably Liberty - Odyssey (or whoever does Thanksgiving from NJ) We have no issue going from one class to another because each of them offers some pros (has some cons) + itinerary can be to die for. πŸ™‚
  16. Are people who cruise on Vision class crazy? They cruise for various reasons, not because they cannot cruise on Wonder. There are many reasons why people choose particular cruise. Enjoy Mariner!
  17. Simple. Not many people were signing for M&M because of other groups. Otherwise Royal would continue
  18. Organizers get Casino points because you and others play and their card is scanned.
  19. Nothing is new here really. This policy about no changes after final payment was in place in 2003 when we started cruising. First policy I learned about.
  20. Absolutely. Try to understand what I wrote. It is a trick question. Of course you like Roll Calls with Slot Pull, but do you participate or organize?
  21. 8 days and Day 5 Oranjestad, Aruba Day 6 Willemstad, Curacao (also there: Seabourn Ovation) will be our first choice. Is an easy choice Odyssey is a bit smaller, but still HUGE. It has better Solarium than other two I feel. It has great place Seaplex for teens. IFly, NorthStars But first two have Zipline, Central Park, amazing water show, iceshow... And overall more unusual All three have Surfing
  22. What? They don't have your sophisticated sense of humor?! (Joking) Anyway, you know why Slot Pulls are organized, right? Organize them yourself if you like Casino. πŸ™‚ (I do not)
  23. I think reason is not only Covid. You are saying that you do not read or post, so you do not see that meetings are organized by groups too.
  24. There are events for 18-25 daily now. I don't remember a name of this program.
