  1. I attended Jazz on 4 many times on Oasis cruises and pretty much liked every group. It is a bit funny that several groups were from my former country (but hey they were amazingly talented). I was just trying to determine if poocher likes this change or not. I guess hint should be "I'm looking" rather than "I was looking".
  2. This is official rule. People break it. Maybe punishment is more severe if you share with underaged?
  3. You don’t need to turn 21 officially to drink off their friends unlimited plan you know…
  4. We had the same tour in 2016 on Oasis. Loved it!
  5. Last year we did Anthem - Enchantment - Oasis - Adventure - Anthem This year Anthem - Enchantment - Liberty (twice) - Anthem Next year Anthem - Vision - Symphony - Liberty - Odyssey We enjoy them all for different things. On smaller ones we love comfortable theaters, closeness of everything (we almost never use elevators) … and all musical venues including Centrum. There is always something going on.
  6. Thank you for the great review. We are also Anthem fans. Enjoy her till she leaves. She will be missed greatly!
  7. We love Princess, but our last cruise with them in 2019 on Crown Princess was a big disappointment. It was New Year 2020 cruise which was not cheap so we expected usual Princess great food we experienced last time (New year 2017) on Royal Princess. We were disappointed. There was no usual variety in seafood... there was no steak on daily menu, It was interesting as This 10 day cruise followed 5 days Christmas cruise on Explorer and surprisingly food there was more interesting. Is this a ship thing?
  8. What ship did you sail on? I am getting mixed reviews between different X ships. But generally Celebrity is better.
  9. Some villas at Coco Cay (Royal Caribbean) now cost $1500 - $3800. As long as people are paying it cruiselines will charge it. If not they will lower prices. Seems like people are paying it.
  10. I know, but they are sourced from Canada. They are frozen before cooked, which could be a reason. I live in New England and only eat them, because they are served for free.. At home we buy only fresh lobsters.
  11. So we had. Mario Isla for several cruises on Anthem from Bayonne, now we will have him on Liberty from Bayonne…
  12. Could also be due to the fact lobsters are bought from Canada now, used to be from Caribbeans. Logistics.
  13. How come you always wondered if change to “1 free” happened during last months? It was unlimited free before. Also I believe competition on North American market is more fierce. I think with a time they may remove lobster at all. NCL did. Who knows? Honestly … maybe I’m picky and from New England, but lobster isn’t that great on cruises anyway.
  14. I am not an expert in Indian food, but working with many Indian colleagues (IT) I know that Indian restaurants and buffets vary greatly in quality even though cooks there are ALL Indians. European, American, Mexican, Indian etc food can be prepared with variable quality by Indian cooks I suppose.
  15. Eh.. we have multiple cruises with all massmarket lines (8 lines) and especially when we talk about RCI (26), NCL(10), Carnival (3) ... it is up and down with each of them. On our first cruises with all 3 food was weak. Especially on NCL Spirit. We mostly cruise with RCI now with occasional Celebrity, NCL, Princess. I hear complaints about food worsening from every line cruisers. Must be linked to pandemic losses (RC corp lost 21 billions) and raging inflation.
  16. Number of days + quality of ports are important to me. For good itinerary and 12 days we go even on Vision class once a year…
  17. You can finish everything later. Just pick time
  18. Thank you! Somehow I remember 150 Central Park. Do you remember by any chance ?
  19. I’m still adjusting to this name. While it matches 100% in my language … it also very close to Sinking…
  20. Is there a list of restaurants which you can book on for example Symphony? I know Hooked is not eligible, but what is? TIA
  21. We are completely comfortable with self-exploration at almost every Caribbean island (we only missed 2 major islands Guadeloupe and St Vincent), but I feel that OP feels differently. Maybe they should start with ship's tour and see how they feel about. During our very first cruise I took all ship tours as I (mom) was alone with our 11 years old and did not know what to expect. The very next cruise we had several independent private tours and self explored.
  22. Islands rely on tourism!!! Nobody targets tourists. Of course you need to watch your belongings just like in any other place including where you live, but nothing dangerous. We often rent a car and drive around St Maarten/St Martin. Feel safe everywhere, From time to time we stop at Maho while driving. This is video I filmed in 2019. This is my video from our island drive last year including Maho bay. Does it look dangerous? We also stopped there twice this year, and spent time and closest beach. Very safe
