Well, we sometime get calls about downgrading even with assigned cabin. So rules are the same in this regard.

The only rule that applies to GTY is that they cannot place you in lower category. Everything else is random. Where, when etc.

I know that NCL ships are doing same cruises out of NYC, and we once took 14 days deep Caribbean out of Boston... but 1-2 days each way are too cold to be outside even oh hot Jacuzzi.

Thank you. I personally have PTSD when I smell it due to former worries about my teen (who is adult now). I really don't want to smell it anywhere much less on vacation. It is legal in Massachusetts, but thankfully I do not smell it here even in majority of Boston.

Anthem for the first time was decorated day before Thanksgiving. Previously it was never decorated during this week.

I recommend using pre-cruise sales as even with D+ discounts internet onboard is much more expensive.

NCL does similar 9-10 itins. Problem with NCL it does not have inside pools/solariums. It is cold in the beginning of April, but we did with them 9-10 dayers from NYC and 14 days to 7 East/Southern Caribbeans from Boston! Anthem is sailing in January for 11 days to Puerto Rico St Maarten Antigua St Lucia St Kitts Wonderful itinerary on excellent for winter time ship with solarium and indoor pool!

We cruise out of Bayonne up to 5 times a year. We did regular 7 dayer to Port Canaveral and Bahamas (just returned) - on Anthem and Oasis (and NCL out of NYC) 8 dayers to Port Canaveral and Bahamas on Anthem for Thanksgivings. Too bad they switched to 7. 9 dayers to Caribbeans with Bermuda or without - on Explorer, but Adventure is doing it now 6 and 9 dayers to Canada on Adventure. 7 days to Bermuda with Celebrity 8 days on Carnival - Nassau - Half Moon Cay (private) - Grand Turk & Caicos. 5 days to Canada and NE on Queen Mary 2 from Brooklyn 9 days to Bermuda and Caribbeans on Princess 9 and 10 days on NCL Gem from Manhattan to Eastern Caribbeans RCI now has 3 ships + 1 Celebrity ship year around and itineraries exist. We were on Anthem for 7 days on Thanksgiving and will be for 11 days in January to Caribbeans Adventure (now Liberty will?) does Bermuda/Caribbeans - 9 days, Bermuda during warmer season I don't think Oasis will divert from simple itineraries. People love Oasis for different things.

We used to always park at open lot till they build garage. Now we mostly (sometimes up to 5 times a year) park in garage, but this year parked once at open lot as garage was full. Everything was fine.

We cruise on almost all classes every year. This year Oasis, Anthem, Adventure (almost Liberty) and Enchantment(almost Grandeur which we cruised before). Enchantment was smaller, but we never felt bored. Pools (solarium and open) are there. Tones of music everywhere. And of course ports were the best (Southern Caribbeans). On Oasis pr Anthem we cruise for the ship, although we will be on longer, better ports cruise on Anthem soon.

Whole Maine is present. You can buy it for $29.99. I wonder if it’s previously frozen. If I buy Maine Lobster I’d better do it locally. Prepared from live ones.

We were confused the first time we sailed on Anthem in 2016. Then we learned how to cook it. It’s a perfect ship for colder sailings with indoor pool and Solarium. Just returned from #8 on her. We also sail on other RCI ships (this year it’s Oasis, Adventure and Enchantment). Each has own pros and cons. We miss Viking Crown Lounge on Anthem, but Solarium is amazing .. We literally live there. 🙂 Also Boleros is better than on other classes. Grandeur class doesn’t even have it except for stretched Enchantment.

No issues at all. Various devices, lights aren’t issue.

They have no problems with it. We always brought it on winter holiday cruises. 3 lines, no problems

I think it’s removed from amenity list. Also next cruise after we reached D+ we got one from the first post, but we felt it was just because there was no C&A ones.

Also maybe for next time if you decide to try MSC. From I remember they make announcements in 5-6 languages. They also mostly have dancing and singing shows as they are better understandable by international crowd.
