  1. Thank you. I suspected we could use US Naturalization Certificate, but never risked not having our US passport. For us concept of traveling without passport was … foreign (no pun) 🙂
  2. They may not want kids to just get it and play with it. Stuff that people buy is treated differently.
  3. My friends did in Med. It was on Symphony or Harmony and they spent most days exploring cities, so they wanted their kids to experience ship more. They did not complain.
  4. I just completed 30th cruise with RCI ... since 2003 and I do not think I remember popcorn. )))
  5. What visa? OP is US citizen...I do not think US would be issuing ESTA to US citizen.
  6. We loved it on Explorer, Adventure and also on Liberty! I guess if will be denied access to CL I will still be in VCL on sailaways with my Diamond drink. 🙂 In fact we have Vision cruise coming and CL is not upstairs (it is in aft lounge). We are thinking about skipping CL and spend time in VCL. Maybe we can take some snacks with us for imitation.
  7. I am so sorry. I am originally from another country. I believe if you are US citizen you need to leave and enter US with US passport. (if you are natural born here you can board with Birth Certificate + DL) If you are not and have a Green Card then you can use GC + other passport.
  8. Exactly! Not different from type of rooms. Some people want suites cheaper ... 🙂
  9. This will be a harakiri almost for any cruiseline.
  10. Could be. Private company with own analysts and rules. As long as they provide me with what is expected from cruise I am good.
  11. Same with room service. People were abusing it...now they think. 🙂
  12. I am OK with this...For profit company. People pay for what they need. I like to have internet access... but I am not demanding cost sharing.
  13. We were using GTY on certain class of NCL ships where we knew every single cabin in this category and two categories up. On Royal our friends booked GTY inside room on category which was on mid to upper floors and were assigned OV room which is technically higher category, but was located on the lowest deck.
  14. Not for us. We see many advantages in product and choices out of Northeast. And we have extensive experience with many other lines so we have idea what they provide. We get pretty close prices by booking well ahead.
  15. Hmmm ... have not noticed it on Jan 7th cruise. These are Pad Thai and also other Shrimp and seafood dishes. Breakfast and lunch had lots of protein choices. Our11th cruise on Anthem and I have not noticed lewss protein choices. Sorry in some reason pictures get attached upside down.
  16. It’s much more difficult to implement as you understand. Crown Lounge has regulated access. Do you really see an army of pool attendants/security working hours removing people’s stuff?
  17. Three dots in the right upper corner of the post. But this option is only available for a short time
  18. You can save even more if you buy less devices and split time. (Not on the same device, but relogin to another)
  19. You are very welcome. Also you can buy it and watch. Maybe it will come down in price so you can rebook.
  20. I am prepared for Royal to raise number of points to 350 or even higher for Crown lounge and be excluded for 3 hours. I can skip snacks 🙂 I enjoyed cruising without lounge too. I can drink my 5 drinks in various places
  21. Well..this change to dynamic dining was fleetwide, so it is what it is. You cannot beat not flying + Solarium of this quality. Not flying saves us money, work days etc. 🙂
  22. Yes... I hope though people sail not only because of benefits. We sailed with 8 lines multiple times before we became Diamonds with Royal, but around this time we started sailing more and more with Royal and then we switched almost exclusively to sailing with Royal. Did we become more loyal? Could be... But it is more because of convenience of sailing with Royal from Northeast. They provide us with 5 quality cruises for various seasons and itineraries. If we are stripped from all our Diamond + benefits we will still cruise mostly with Royal.
  23. It is in the app, but it is not clear if it is related to current sailing or your future. I guess it can be double checked on board
  24. I am not sure. If I open menus for my sailing it shows menus for current one (we have 12 dayer, current one is 7 days .. so app has 7 days with 7th being Bon Voyage), so this could be similar.
  25. Interesting... My exclusive benefits just show regular list of benefits available on RCI page. It could be just like with menus... information related to current sailing, not my future.
