We sail both this and next year.. we like both classes. Liberty of course is much newer and advanced. Liberty had amazing entertainment! For 5 dayer it’s out of the world entertainment. Liberty spends longer time in Bermuda as they don’t need to sail in and out of Chesapeake Bay.

Typical full Maine lobster was ever offered in any MDR for free over 20 years we cruised with 8 lines

My parents sailed on Oceania Riviera from Dubai in December. They generally don’t like cruises.. and out of RCI, NCL , Princess (5 cruises) only Princess impressed them somewhat … they LOVED Oceania … and have another scheduled this year to Bermuda

100% ... I am sure we will have fun except it lacks adult Solarium. Not sure if it is a problem for others. Maybe we are not a target. We are D+ though, so All Inclusive part will work for us. 🙂

For short cruise it makes sense to use a free day and buy the rest.. otherwise it makes serve to by package pre cruises

We usually have 2 cruises on Quantum class, 1 on Oasis and 1 on Voyager/Freedom classes a year. And one on Vision class...while Vision class has some shortfalls (you cannot seriously compare cabins on Anthem and on Vision... or Windjammer) we are willing to overlook them due to amazing 12 days Southern Caribbean itins and the fact we do not need to drive to Florida to reach S Caribbeans. Atmosphere is very nice too.

You can use Passport card, but it would not be any different from Birth Certificate + DL. So no reasons to get it. Passport book allows you to return to USA via plane should something happen.

Maybe on some itins, but I heard this several times recently.. Last year too.

I watched menus on European cruises for Anthem and did not see free lobster on Royal night. The only difference. On NCL passports were collected when we left and reentered EU.

I have a large number of shelves with ships models. Blocks can fit there too, but we just put them on coffee table near our cruise photo. I am sure RCI won't be disappointed if cruisers won't take them home. Less to produce.

If you are paying what you are paying and expecting fine dining like in fine dining restaurants ... hmmm ... I do not think anyone can do this. 🙂

Good planning is a key. We drink (something is usually had at tailgate party preimbarkation) after first lunch in the pool/solarium before rooms are open. on Sailaway Some lounge with a music after dinner (or prior) Welcome aboard show Some lounge with a music If we cannot finish the last it goes for the next morning pre-breakfast. Could be something like cognac, brandy or Sidecar... so no ice. 🙂

I’m surprised how many people trust information posted in app way before their sailing when other information is for current cruise. I am checking info for upcoming in March cruise and 12 dayer ends on day #8… menu for day #7 is Bon Voyage … I think they just show current info including C&A info.

Just because some tragic accident may happen and person will lose their passport doesn’t mean everyone can be allowed to travel without passports. A person who lost passport I believe must contact US embassy or something and get a new one to be able to return to US.
