For us...on ships that have CK...that is our "go to" for lunch. Nice to have a quiet lunch while waiting for our cabin to open. Our other favorite class of ship (the Radiance ladies), we hit the salad bar in the WJ and the bar for a beer and wine, taking all out to the al fresco dining area in the aft. On ships that have neither...agree with others. Solarium bistro/cafe is a good choice.

Yup...same as us we never go over our six. With the ship giving us 3 bottles of wine, the ability to bring on two more (though we never do an longer) AND the six person drinks per day. Hick... 🤪 IMHO...for us...any more than that, time for me to find the nearest AA meeting. 😄

I am comfortable with the included Viking tours and some "extra charge options". But those selections for me won't be available until Sept. 15th. We will be joining Venus on January 16th.

Unfortunately the "freebie" beer for suites is now cheap domestic. Yes, you can still get Heineken (And Bucky's favorite Stella) but you will have to use a voucher or pay for it. 😞 Yes...another RCI cut back as the prices still keep going up. 😣

Totally agree there. While GS can help with some of the basics, it's the Voom person that is the one to use...as long as he/she is at their desk. 😑

Yet another fantastic tour with great narrations and pictures! Fascinating history for sure. Though I am worried about those empty glasses they keep giving you. 😄

Ok...whatever. The quick and painless was the experience of my sister just last month and several of my cruising friends this last year. I don't have any information of having it elsewise, like you did. And just because it was difficult and time consuming for you...does that make it so with everyone else also? Since our Global Entry includes TSA precheck, those lines here in Orlando are way...way shorter than the general population lines heading into security check. I am most happy to get into those shorter lines...no matter what the outcome is after that. Some days there the general population lines to get into security are across the hallway and all the way down to the food courts. It's terrible...and I would not want to be traveling today or tomorrow. 😮

I noticed that too, and was happy to book the shows in advance at home prior to the cruise. Though the show I really wanted to see was cancelled for the whole cruise. 😞

Very simple to just return it to the LA. Since it is generic, with no personal engraving, the LA can have it passed on to someone else that will want/can take it home. Used to be an option (3 options actually) to fill out a card with choices of wanting it, not wanting it, or having it shipped to you. Though I think the ship to you is probably not available any longer.

We are pretty fond of the VCL for happy hour with that great sweeping 180 plus view. Love sitting at the circle bar, though the bar stools are a bit "stiff". 😉 Wonder which (if any) of the Radiance ladies still have the bar revolving? Was dead on Serenade, but I think Jewel still worked?
