  1. OMG Twangster! Those pics are great! Thanks so much for sharing! Makes me smile and looking forward to TA Wonder for Halloween this year! ๐Ÿ˜„ We won't join the costume contest parade, but will be decked out in scary finest. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  2. DH worked in power plants. Even with hearing protection...over the years....it still killed his hearing. Me, I worked in quiet environments. We are the same age. I have great hearing (sometimes too good) and his is shot. Over the years, exposure to an ear drum killing environment...will kill your hearing. Kids in these loud night clubs, listening to very loud ear splitting music all the time. What do you think that is doing to their hearing? The ear drums can only take so much...then it's time to shut down.
  3. I can't remember...were you on one of the over the water cabanas...or one of the ones on the shoreline. The ones on the shoreline looked very nice, and a bit closer to the facilities.
  4. Pee yes...but something else, when you really have to go? ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Though, it's quite obvious the poor beach is being used as a pee toilet. The water is murky on that shallow side, so the extra pollution is sure not helping the matter.
  5. Looking forward to Halloween on TA Wonder this year. ๐Ÿ™‚ Taking extra duffel bag for our costumes. In fact booked again for same time the following year....same cabin.
  6. Yup, quite the splurge, but not something I would have done indeed. Food was great, was nice to have our own spot over the water, and blissfully plenty of shade area. But I like to keep active, so ended up being a bit bored. Our usual when we visit Coco Cay is to simply do a full walk around the perimeter, sipping on a Coco Loco, then return to the uncrowded ship for a quiet lunch. Miss the longer walk, but of course now that the nature trail to the other end is gone....that walk is quite a bit shorter. Really used to enjoy sitting for awhile on the high point on the far end, overlooking the ship when it was tendered offshore.
  7. My sister rented one of those "over the water" Cabanas as birthday gift to me(there are 9 or 10 of them). Not something I would have done myself. We thought the food was good, (though way too much of it), but indeed service took a long time. The worst thing...was the location and size of the bathroom in the club area. Way up by the main pool, and only 3 stalls in the ladies room. With...maybe a several hundred guests or more, all drinking many cocktails, etc....really? Way too far away from the Cabana area.
  8. And they wonder why their hearing is gone by the time they reach their 30s. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Hearing aid companies are loving the new generation.
  9. So many of us have noticed the increase in volume all over the ship....and many of us (me included) have mentioned that on our exit survey. Wonder how many have actually complained the volume was too low at venues and announcements? ๐Ÿ˜‰ Hey...RCI...wake up, you sure are making sure we are!
  10. OMG....you would never get your bro out of there!! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
  11. You are still young grasshopper. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Your bro is just about deaf...whaaat???
  12. Agree. Biggest thing is that you can't reseal the cans. I like dragging a bottle of water with me on shore excursions, able to stuff in bag and sip during the day. Plus don't like the taste of "can" with water...or beer for that matter. ๐Ÿ˜‰
