I was unable to book a suite on WC...just one point a night. 😉 So, actually our four weeks during double points on Wonder doing the med/TA to PC in a GS...112 points. 63 nights on first quarter WC...63 points...half of what we had on 28 day Wonder. Go figure. 😄

I do the same for the same reason. Bucky had bags of those cone things (from working in power plants)...but they don't stay in my small ear canals. Did the same as you, though mine are pink of course... 🙂 with those silicone plugs. They are great! I also use them on other cruise ships with shows that are way too loud.

LOL...yup, we and my friend Gary/Mary were already starting to stray. Gary way earlier than us. 😉 Though we have gone further...more to to the "dark side"...with Viking. 😄

We adore sailing out of Tampa, and love the small ships...which is perfect since the large ladies cannot fit under the Sunshine Skyway bridge. 😉 Have done Brilliance, Rhapsody, and Enchantment out of there. Love them all. One thing about EN is we are fond of calling her the "Enstretchment". She is the one and only Vision class to be cut in half and a chunk added in the middle. She has a huge pool deck due to this, though we don't use it. We are also in a GS this October, back to Enchantment again, doing a B2B. IMHO...you can't go wrong with any of those ships. 🙂

That was exactly what I was thinking. Bucky pulls his hearing aids out (and really can't hear that well with them in!) and then becomes totally deaf....but he swears I can hear "ants fart". 🤭 Thus I am a bit worried about one of our cruises with our deck 7 cabin location next to the elevator. Maybe time for ear plugs if so. 😮

Thanks! We enjoy our socializing over other venues...but dinner at night....that is "our time". Very happy to hear we can enjoy a two top in the restaurant. 🙂 We don't tend to linger over dinner, and never order dessert or after dinner coffee. Would feel like we are being impolite if we were eating with others and left them early.

Enjoy your cruise and welcome back! 🙂 Do be aware though, with you being D+ and access to Crown Lounge, if your kids/grandkids are not at least D and above, they will not have access to the Crown Lounge. And in fact depending on how high the C&A numbers are, even if D...may not have access during happy hour. The success of the C&A program is creating crowding issues in the lounges now that were not as bad 20 years ago.

And doesn't WC have more "two tops" available versus the larger tables in the restaurant? Looking forward to Venus in January...first time on Viking ocean ship. Though we adored our river cruising last year. 🙂

Me too. Will be interesting for my first cruise I have booked on the "Connie" in December. I booked the full package with WIFI, drinks, etc. plus being in a suite...and so now I am Zenith also. I won't change the booking. Happy with the cabin I booked and the package deal.

I packed a highly compressed 1.5 inch foam topper into my checked duffle bag for 1st quarter WC Serenade. Soooo glad I did!! Left it behind, and now have another ready to go for rejoining Serenade for last quarter out of Barcelona. Also took a pair of scissors in my checked bag as it needed to be trimmed since those king beds (two twins together) are smaller than an actual king.
