  1. We are booked for that early next year. Thanks!
  2. OP...I would definitely send your bored friends over to the new "mega theme park" ships on RCI. We are headed to Viking and Celebrity to get away from that party crowd. Not our thing.
  3. I tried to do that...nothing available at all. I am just happy it is done now and am already enjoying the wonderful perk. 🙂
  4. Totally agree there! Make the most of that long flight. Yikes! We are leaving to rejoin the RCI world cruise on the 8th. Spent the first quarter with them (63 nights) and then hopped off for a few months, back on in Barcelona to finish last quarter (62 nights). We are slowly moving away from RCI, having 5 Viking cruises booked now. Tossing in some Celebrity, due to loyalty perk matching and local embarkation ports.
  5. Ironically I do now. Needed to adjust our plan (didn't need tethering any longer). The new plan the rep today set me up with assured me I had the unlimited plan. And a bonus discount for AARP. 🙂
  6. Thanks...indeed looking forward to it. Also loved, loved our 3 week river cruise with you last year. Really sold me on Viking. 🥰
  7. Indeed confusing when you think your plan covers it, then I verified the plan when we entered Canada last year with the AT&T rep on the phone. He assured me I was covered with my international plan. Apparently he was wrong. Weird as I am covered in Mexico. I was charged the 10.00 a day when in Canada...that is what they had to reverse for giving me wrong information. Will just use WIFI calling from now on, during the rare times we would be back to Canada from now on.
  8. We visit Alaska quite often. Being a U.S. state, local AT&T is covered as in any state, and yes...Hawaii also. 😉 Also, covered: Puerto Rico and St. Thomas, that are part of US.
  9. Be careful with using that plan in Canada. I was told by AT&T rep on the phone that I had local (like we do in Mexico) in Canada. We got charged 120 buck extra. When I called back, the 2nd rep told me the first rep was mistaken. They found where I had called that rep, then refunded the charge. But was warned it is not covered there.
  10. The difference from Express or general lines are minimal/minutes apart at the most. Simple to just stay together in the general line. And if you arrive later, the lines are moving in quite quickly and boarding may have already begun anyway.
  11. Indeed, I am on one. Paid off and ready to go. B2B on Octantis out of Milwaukee on July 8, 2025. Great Lakes, St. Lawrence Seaway, several bounces along Greenland, and the NW passage. 🙂
  12. I received 6 envelopes containing duplicate 10 pages from Hornblower (Omni Solutions) stating update information. Pretty much about the appointment customer representative. Not really much of anything real as to actual refunds. Yeah, six envelopes that they paid 88 cents each to mail.
  13. No...no. The trick is to increase the price by 100% and offer a 50% off discount!! 😄 😄
  14. Thanks Dave. I think many of us have "been there, done that" witnessing those poor pax walking around with full plates and no place to sit. It's a dining room...not a game/card room...or email checking room. Way too many other venues around the ship for that.
  15. One of my favorite venues on the Radiance ladies...is the outdoor dining area aft the WJ. We pick a table, take turns going up to the buffet (salad bar is usually a go to for us), then take our plates outdoors to enjoy the view. Not a lot of pax go out there, so it is usually not so busy. Can also order wine/beer or drinks at the WJ bar to take out with you also. Sanitize on the way in, then once again before we sit down.
  16. One of my favorite things about embarkation day CK, is having somewhere to enjoy a quiet place for lunch (away from the craziness of the WJ/promenade), and a good place for our carry on bags while we wait for the cabins to open.
  17. Aww....thanks! Very sweet of you. 😊 I did enjoy doing the posts, but a few posters (not on the ship) changed that happy feeling for me.
  18. I think those announcements are meant for those who sit at tables that are not eating. They are on their devices, playing cards, board games etc. Fine if not busy, but have witnessed poor pax aimlessly walking around with plates of food in their hands....not finding any available table to sit at. There are other areas in the ship to use for games, etc.
  19. Thanks! Indeed I had fun posting my adventures...but alas...a few bad apples spoil the batch I guess.
  20. We did not have the drink package on our cruise, but enjoyed the wines with dinner and lunch. When their choice of wine was subpar for me, I simply walked back to the cabin to fill my glass with the wine they supplied in our fridge (suite) that I liked, and took that to dinner. 😉
  21. Thanks. We will be in 7016. Good to know about the 9 pm turn off. I will indeed be one to complain if it is not turned off and wakes me up. 😉
  22. Thanks....but I won't be posting on the thread I created when we rejoin in Barcelona. Had too much problems with pax that were not even on the cruise, posting personal pictures and experiences (even on different cruise lines) that had nothing to do with the WC. When I gently tried to get them to stay on topic (as in Cruise Critic rules for off topic/hacking)...I got shot down. One problem poster (also not on the cruise) even said "Don't listen to Pat..post anything you want". That was it for me. I had fun doing it, but people like that ruined it. CC removed some of those posts, though I had nothing to do with that, I did not report the posts. I just let it go.
  23. Insignificant? Really? About to cruise on X for the first time. We are now Zenith. Score, and saved 2500 on our previously booked cruise, just for getting the Zenith perks. Yeah...not insignificant at all for us.
