  1. Passports OR Birth certificates are required for guests 15 and under on a closed loop cruise departing from the US. Not both
  2. No issues, it can be moved. The obc should be adjusted accordingly if you change the length sailing or cabin category. Also, if you are going from one group into another group they will have to create a new booking number.
  3. Only the suite lounge will have a free cocktail hour
  4. While one original persons name must remain on the reservation they can be a no show at the pier and not actually sail.
  5. Gotcha. Yes, some of the TA's do seem to have some pretty large drops after final payment
  6. That is exactly their stratedgy. They are not about to start lowering the price.
  7. OP is in the UK and can't reprice which is why I said to book with a US TA.
  8. TA's do not have any inventory after final payment. Royal recalls all group rates 30 days prior to final payment.
  9. Talk to the host at Chops the day you board. If the reservations are at the same time I can't see it being an issue, just don't leave it until an hour before your dining time to make the request
  10. That would only apply if you thought the cruise line was going to go bankrupt.
  11. Book through a US based travel agent that allows repricing of your booking up until final payment and there is no downside to booking early and watching for price drops.
  12. Thanks for posting that. I did not see that letter that was for one segment. The letter that I saw was for clients booked on all 3 segments that are being cancelled and they did not have that offer. I will modify my statement that it is extremely rare for Royal to offer OBC on any redeployments these days. The good old days of redeployment are long gone.
  13. Royal no longer offers OBC as part of cancellations.
  14. I can put a hold on it. Same thing as putting down a deposit, it has a valid booking number and is an actual booking. If they cancel and they obviously will any money paid would be refunded whether or not it was a refundable deposit or a non refundable deposit.
  15. It depends on the room. I have seen it allowed for an Owners suite where there is lots of floor space. I imagine they have a determined list of cabins where they will allow it and if your cabin type is not on that list they won't.
  16. Never seen that happen. If it's available to book then it's available to book.
  17. Because thry still are. No idea why Royal still has them for sale.
  18. Now called the crown lounge, deck 4 by the music hall
  19. I can't say for certain for the UK but I can say that it happens in North America. It was even worse with groups as the person who took out the initial group at corporate would get notified, then have top pass it along to the franchisee who owned the agency and then to the travel agent who booked the cruise. Just saying that Royal has a strange way of sending out notifications that those who are not in the business do not know about.
  20. North America. Whether your agent receives e nails directly will depend bonus how they are set up in the system. Theses e mail notifications go out to tje agency owner and not to the agent directly. It is then up to the agency owner to sent the notifications to the agent. Ive been in that position as an agent and it's frustrating but Royal has sent them.
  21. I received the notification for my clients who are on those affected voyages.
  22. You need to read the post that I quoted as well as my post. I was clearly taking about the fact that there would not be 2 Oasis class ships both doing the 3 and 4 day itineraries out of PC.
