  1. My wife also has a dairy allergy, I know the challenges on board, especially desserts. Ask for the pavlova without cream.
  2. Some subtle differences between ships. last week on Ovation it was; 50% off coupon for any glass of wine beer or soda ( two coupons per sailing) as opposed to 50% off two glasses purchased together
  3. I would call the airline directly. Most do cancel if you miss the first leg but there are some that don't. We did something similar this past March. I had roundtrip flights to FLL and then had the opportunity to go a week earlier. It would have cost a lot more to rebook so I kept my return trip and booked a separate one way on a different airline for the first leg. Hope it works out for you.
  4. Unfortunately it has more than that in it including non fat milk solids, buttermilk powder and whey powder. It's still off limits for those with a dairy allergy.
  5. Don't worry, they will adjust the heat of the indoor spaces according to the temperature that it is outside. We were on Ovation last week and it was typical Alaska weather which meant the day started off at 50 degrees. The indoor heaters were going and you felt the blasts of warm air from the vents as you were walking through the hallways
  6. Definitely agree with the Lobster Thermador, tenderloin for two and the scallops as an appetizer at 150
  7. Find a travel agent that has group rates with Celebrity. Those rates get locked in and do not change. There are still deals out there.
  8. That would work or if you have their room number that would also work
  9. Nice. Last week Tracys was bringing in fresh caught Norton Bay King Crab from the summer fishing season. They said it had just days to run until the summers quota was caught. Our legs weren't as large as that nut they were still very tasty. They were selling for $55 a pound.
  10. Just Uber and Lyft. Taxis and preferred shuttle vans are right there. TIP! Pay for a porter. They will get you to the front of the taxi line and save you at least an hour of waiting in line for a taxi. We did a taxi to the airport. It was $80, maybe $20 $25 more expensive than a Lyft would have been.
  11. We had some here that came as a 1oz sampler bottle attached with something else we had bought so I decided to try it. Quite enjoyed it. Mentioned it to my college age daughter who rolled her eyes and said that's what the rookies drink. This from the girl that bases her wine purchases to bring on board solely by alcohol content.
  12. We used Lyft last week, it seems to be more prevalent in Seattle and better prices as well. They dropped us off right at the check in area. It is as you disembark that they take you elsewhere to get an Uber or Lyft.
  13. My guess is that it was one of thise deals where they were not charging double occupancy. If you paid full double occupancy rates then you would get the full obc.
  14. That should only happen if you are paying the 150% solo supplement for being over 340 points.
  15. $25 for inside or Oceanview, $50 for a balcony or JS and $150 GS or above.
  16. My daughter was with us who does not ear crab legs. She ordered the pulled pork sliders and at only $13 for 3 large sliders and we were definitely surprised at how good they were.
  17. I don't have many pictures, Vikki is the one that takes most of them. Great cruise. Typical Alaska weather, 56 to 65 daily and the forcasted rain held off all but part of our day in Juneau. We were one of the lucky ones in Juneau. Most of the helicopter tours were cancelled due to low cloud cover but it lifted enough for our 2:00 tour to go and then ones later in yhe day were also cancelled. Expensive but a once in a lifetime tour, so worth it. Headed to Tracy's after that and demolished a couple pounds of crab legs. We dlso did the white pass train in Skagway, incredible scenery. Fin island lodge in Sitka and whale watching in a zodiac in Victoria. To top off a great cruise we never had any issues with flights or luggage that so many are reporting these days especially out of YYZ
  18. Yes the SL drinks are in addition to your D+ drinks
  19. Every single one of my drinks on my last 4 cruises has shown up as a 0 charge.
  20. As long as you are on an Oasis class ship then yes.
