  1. Honestly I think the last time I went to any of the CC events was on Mercury. Many I get, do have a preference for it. I mainly sailed with the drink package since its been out there, as always able to get a great rate thru my TA. Not that Im anti social but when I travel and vacation I zone out in every way possible. I use to work a very hectic job, running hotels/resorts/rest etc. I enjoy going to WCB and Sunset to relax have a good cocktail or 2...3...4 etc.
  2. It can easily be done Just tried and was able to bypass the page where asking for more for refundable deposit. No pics as not on computer right now. Question should be more that why wouldn't you want to see all options overall and just go straight to payment after pick room and not be aware of any of the choices.
  3. Exactly, it is only maybe if someone books a room only cruise where it might be beneficial overall to me, tho I usually can get a rate from my TA for the AI that is just about the same as room only with Celebrity, or have in the past, so the added WIFI is no value. I have rarely ever ordered room service, and the shows I dont go often tbh.
  4. On board only, like others said the info will be in your room when you go drop your luggage off. Usually have to call or find the CC hosts to sign up for this. I have skipped this in the past as usually have bev package.
  5. That was one of the perks that I am curious about. Honestly I usually board around 1 most of time and luggage has always been to room by 4 or so the latest. Not a major thing at all overall. I have my carry on and everything I need for 2-3 days in it so not a major need in premium access pass. Could see value for some who want the special seating for shows and or do use a lot of room service. Value wise I don’t see it a need for myself.
  6. The pricing really depends, on many/all of my cruises with Celebrity my TA has been able to give me an all included rate that was most of the time better than what Celebrity was charging for room only or barely higher. I have not tried booking any Celebrity cruises lately since they took out the grats part as I already had booked to the end of 2025 with River Cruises and switch to Small Ships and different land based trips.
  7. Are they more expensive than my at home ones, yes. Do I find them worth it on board, that is also a yes. I always get either a good facial, massage, body wrap and find them very good. I have never been pressured into buying anything, yes there is a sales pitch but all I say no thankyou and it is always ended at that. The main thing with at home, I have been seeing the same therapist for 10 years and knows my body. I always make sure I have one right before the cruise from her. I also book on board as its a different type of thing, its a vacation and its part of enjoying it for myself
  8. Definitely on the TA, if you were not informed that you booked non refundable rate. The TA's I deal with that is always my first question on rates they give me, is this a refundable rate or non refundable. What is cxl policy etc. Plus been dealing with them for years and they know what I look for. I book far out usually 1+ year when cruises come out for good rates, things change and I know it from work wise happenings. Not a Celebrity issue, there is a reason the Non refundable rate is cheaper, because its non refundable. To me its clear, hotels do it all the time, so do many resorts etc. I will pay the extra for refundable as its just part of traveling for me at this point. When I retire things might be different and will be able to last minute kind of bookings.
  9. I bought stock when in the 40s and sold, thought I would keep it just for the OBC but 3x invest much better choice, not like Im going to go on that many cruises with Celebrity down the road as I am aiming for River cruises and smaller ships for the next few years it looks like.
  10. Its in most of the lounges, not one specific spot, a few bars do not have the happy hour for elites, mainly the World Class Bar and Restaurants also do not. All info will be in your room for your level of benefits that you qualify for.
  11. I prefer Tuscan much more than Murano Never had a bad meal experience in either, but Murano has slipped some in my experience the times I went ot it last year. 2 times. On S class Tuscan has a great location and always been great all around each time. But all have different tastes and what they look for in restaurants.
  12. The shop that sells them was up to Jan owned and run by LVMH, so the items are authentic, LVMH just sold the retail part of the ships and hotels that had these shops to a company that already ran a bunch of these type of stores for LVMH. LVMH is one company that does not screw around with fakes, there reputation is everything. We ended up picking up some very unique Hermes scarfs for a decent price. T
  13. People only read headlines, and do not bother to look at the whole context or post whole context. Thats unfortunate. Honestly, I have seen the signs posted for years with the Solarium for kids at odd hours, 5-7 etc. Been sailing since early 2000's with them. Personally, Im thinking of putting a title of Celebrity Moving on from M class ships and S class ships and see what happens. Yes in 30 years guess what those ships most likely will not be in the fleet but almost want to see and be amused by people who only read headlines.
  14. Good beer, The hazy blonde was super refreshing. Should have gone to Juggies Place, greatest dive bar out there. Just for the owner himself. Was laughing the whole time there with his stories
  15. There is actually a deck 13, Celebrity just numbered them wrong.
  16. Not that I have seen, but I also have purchased it on the embarkation day. You can always ask, I know for my last cruise the Persian garden sold out of passes so your playing with that scenario also.
  17. No issue with this as it makes sense, tbh many of the so called adults during the day need to be banned from the solarium. Snoring loudly, yelling across the pool etc. Seen the people who say they are grownup act 100x worse than kids on board way to often in solarium.
  18. Your overall generalization of all kids is very short sighted. Will some of course, but I know many, my cousins kids and a few other families, who do not want to go on NCL or RCCL after they started going on Celebrity. like mentioned, its just a madhouse and tends to be a lot of one big click type atmosphere, On the RCCL/NCL ships.
  19. Last time in December when I got off, I called an UBER and picked up in 10 minutes. I had a 10am flight and was off the ship by 745 and at airport by 810 and checked in, I also do have TSA precheck so that was quick and easy also. Also take a look to see how many other ships are disembarking during that time. I only had 2 others that day so it was minimal crowds overall early morning at airport and pier. Walking off early I thought about but I had done early flights before with no issues. The only hold up can be bad weather, customs not clearing ship quick etc. I have never experienced any of those issues, but there are people who have. But to me they rarely happen. Gone 18 or so cruises thru Ft Lauderdale and never an issue. Ft Lauderdale cruise port is very close and convenient to the airport.
  20. Also a big thing with me on upgrading to premium is I drink 3-4 San Pelligrinos a day, especially in the Caribbean. Those are not included in classic. Also the daily juice from Spa cafe. I was able to upgrade when they had a sale on it for like 6.99, had a sale Black Friday range so it was definitely a no brainer. Watch for sales, they are not always across the board on every sailing.
  21. Be careful of the pricing I believe if you're looking at Edge current menus the ship is in Australia or South Pacific which with the pricing for there the tips are built into the price. So for example the martinis which are 20 currently would be fully covered by the premium package. No additional cost to having premium package. The 17 is when it is sailing for say Ft Lauderdale. It does get confusing but when Celebrity sails from England and or Australia it throws everyone off when looking at drink prices.
  22. This bottle is a deal on board. Its a great Pinot (drink this at home often), I pay 55 In NH Liquor stores (state run) for it. I have seen conflicting if you can order it by the glass with like a 4 dollar surcharge based off Premium.
  23. Yes the Reflection has a large area for the Persian Gardens and includes my favorite room, it has a cold room on the Reflection, the other Persian Gardens on other ships dont have that room. The reflection is an S (Solstice) class ships and include the persian gardens with your D+ from RCI
  24. You would need to speak to the Matre de and chef about these restrictions. The menu is a set menu but they have done some specials with people with restrictions. Not something you can get a clear answer to you get onboard and speak to them.
  25. You need to speak to someone at one of the restaurants. Hopefully this changes in the future
