  1. Gawd.... just imagine. Fortunately, English is widely spoken in Vancouver. If, for some reason, the taxi gets stranded and cannot make it to the airport (this seldom happens to the tens of thousands of other travelers who get to the airport this way), the OP ought to be able to get by.
  2. Careful.... $40 Canadian for the taxi works out to about $30 US, which is what your transfer will cost. Considering all the time you might spend waiting on the transfer, you may wish to reconsider your plan. And you only pay a single taxi fare.
  3. This is what bumboats and block & tackle are good for. Horry Hornblower could easily do this.
  4. I'm sure there's no stupid stuff on Oceania but is there regular bingo?
  5. Sort of like the standards for ziplining and parasailing!
  6. Being sad about this seems to be a bit dramatic but only you know how you feel. Why not simply ask these people to contact you? Post something like this on your roll call: Dear @CCHandle please contact me at something@gmail.com to discuss air travel options. They will get a message on their email and can then choose to respond to you if they wish to.
  7. I believe the purpose of the question was to avoid having to pay for more than one wi-fi account; multiple users connecting through the hot spot.
  8. Maybe because you're sitting three feet away from it in a vehicle with barely any insulating value.
  9. How about those photos of young couples in the prime of their lives without a care in the world on an excursion where nobody else is around or has access to the sight and they are free to taste the wine and cheese thoughtfully left out just for them?
  10. You should go out on the top deck and see whether you can stand in front of the fog horn; that will more closely mimic the intended audience for the device.
  11. Sorry about that, I was looking at a different month.
  12. Isn't there a 4:30 pm flight from SFO to YYZ on Sunday?
  13. Make your way to Place Jacques-Cartier and the Bonsecours Market.
  14. Sure they were. Here is the booking screen when it comes to payment. You need to agree to the cruise ticket contract and health acknowledgement.
  15. Don't you think your TA was acting as your 'Agent' and accepted the Terms and Conditions on your behalf when the booking took place? I'd say yes and whether he/she presented the document to you is irrelevant. I'm no lawyer but did watch The Paper Chase.
  16. Sure you do. Complain to the hotel manager and front desk, leave suitable commentary on post-cruise survey, spend your money on a different cruise line.
  17. OK... I believe you expressed the opinion that the only action you saw that was wrong was cutting the line. If that's the case, then I don't agree with you.
  18. This is the sort of thing crying out for concierges and butlers.
  19. So, you're politely waiting your turn at the buffet to put a few chicken wings on your plate and a dude cuts in front of you and takes the whole tray so he and his buddies can continue the pool-side party... no problem, more wings will eventually show up.
  20. Well... there's an obvious difference between UK and Ontario health care systems! Publicly funded is available for those 65 to 70; otherwise thise over 50 can simply pay for it if they choose to do so.
  21. Have you had vaccination(s) for shingles? If not, perhaps you should ask your doctor about that.
  22. OK... use the website, that's usually my preference for this sort of thing. I'm sure you meant £, not $ for the currency. Don't know when you need to arrive at LGW, your schedule seems to be rather elastic.
