  1. Huh... I'm gonna have a look at my upcoming cruises just for the fun of it!!
  2. I can't. Additionally, I hope 'she' has access to job training opportunities. Lastly, be careful on beaches taking home a bag of sand. That could land you in a peck of trouble.
  3. Would that be per trip to the buffet line or an entire feeding frenzy?
  4. Shells also stabilize the sand by providing an attachment surface for seagrass and act as nesting material for shore birds. Removing shells from a beach alters the physical characteristics of its sediment, disturbing the natural environment and leading to shore erosion.
  5. I suggest you re-read post #1... apparently it is inevitable, and taking precautions to avoid contracting covid is pretty much not time well spent according to the OP.
  6. The figure is shown wearing a capirote... I'm sure those that still wear them would not like to be associated with the KKK. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capirote
  7. It is not inevitable that you will get into a car accident (or catch covid). Seat belts are worn for safety in the event there is a situation where they may eliminate or reduce injury.
  8. Things didn't go as well for you there as you had hoped?
  9. Most of the discussion seems to have been around European ports except Ocho Rios was just thrown into the mix. I'd say a good port to not bother going ashore is Colon, Panama. If you feel a need to do something while tied up there, a ship excursion is essential.... not even the leg-stretching!
  10. The device operating system is unimportant for this issue. The idea is that while recharging your device by plugging it into a USB port you can inadvertently provide access to your device to hackers and 'bad acfors'. To avoid this potential problem there are a number of things you can do: 1. avoid charging a device at the airport; 2. use an adapter to plug in to a wall socket rather than a USB; 3. carry around a backup battery for charging while travelling; 4. purchase and use a power only cable (see post #4), which has the data pins removed. Now, whether and how you use your device(s) in an airport is an entirely different topic!
  11. No... I think we ought not propogate this.
  12. What about the %age of people going to formal night without wearing formal attire? This needs debating!
  13. They're great for driving up the post count without having to think very hard.
  14. That'll work fine. Don't forget to wash your hands after using the restroom.
  15. Yes, that's OK. I'm a little surprised that the Denver FBI office hasn't issued a warning about crossing the street and the possibility that bad actors (mainly people looking at their cell phones) could run you down. I expect this is more likely to occur than the USB charging issue.
  16. It would be easier to read this if you had capitalized the first letter of each sentence.
  17. Really? A few people on Cruise Critic, which is a very small population with a lot of members who will complain about anything... real or imagined, doesn't exactly sound like a basis for making sweeping conclusions about the availability of cruise line websites.
  18. That's simply a conclusion you've drawn from your recent experienc and it's not well supported. I had zero problem over the weekend with the Celebrity website and it seems as though others had no issues. Good that you're back on line and can do whatever business is necessary.
  19. Lisbon is nice to visit. Apparently, there are others who don't share that opinion.
  20. A little scarce on detail. Why not book a different one with a competitor?
  21. At least Sidney, British Columbia is spelled differently and it would be tough to accidently end up there.
  22. I'll take your word on the flags and even though I've never been to Sydney, Australia I'm pretty sure that's the Opera House in the background. What I am sure about is the bridge shown in the Celebrity advertisement is definitely not in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia... Sydney or Seal Island.
