  1. Not sure, but I believe the 124.50 is the charge for not departing from one the the Regent "Gateway" airports. Can't really comment on the 137.50 without seeing the full statement.
  2. Yes there will be a deviation fee, and ask your travel agent if they will handle the air arrangements.
  3. It would be useful if you stated what the error message is.
  4. Only time I have ever seen a wait of more than 1 or 2 to be seated in Compass Rose is following a pre-dinner event such as captain's reception or a very rare pre-dinner show.
  5. Anyone here seen any scheduled maintenance on Splendor? I’ve observed several gaps in the schedule over the next 18 months, but can’t really draw any conclusions as to whether the gaps represent maintenance, charters, or nothing at all.
  6. Correct. Same thing if you have a Regent land program that includes additional nights.
  7. They do indeed. Kinda hoping you would correct me and say they are back to 270 🙂 Wonder if perhaps part of the 270 to 210 change was due to the fact that with so many flight changes that occur when booking flights many months in advance, Regent Air was trying minimize their work required with flight changes.
  8. Actually, you can deviate from 210 days on. No longer 270.
  9. As has been stated multiple times on this board, if you are using Regent transfers from the airport or the hotel to the ship, then the time you selected on the website is meaningless.
  10. Not sure I understand your question. The earlier you make your reservation(s), the more likely you are to get the date and time requested. It ain't rocket science.
  11. I think he is referring to purchasing the internet upgrade that results in a single connection.
  12. Yes, you get the one night in the Regent hotel regardless of what you do the prior 3 days
  13. Just left two Turkish ports on Splendor. Absolutely no issues going ashore and felt totally safe
  14. As has been posted previously, merely using starlink does not guarantee anything. Deployment of the low earth satellites in the past couple years has been focused on providing service to the highest density population areas of the globe, ie over land. Starlink is years away from full deployment of the thousands of additional satellites to provide service over the entire globe. Bottom line, it matters where a ship is located, and whether enough starlink satellites have been deployed to provide the much publicized high speed service in that specific area.
  15. And, if there is an additional phone on the account, it is an additional $5 per day, as opposed to the $10 for the initial phone.
  16. It is not the case. The domestic leg(s) may be first class if you are flying on the same airline for both the domestic and international legs and the legs are ticketed together. No guarantee on the domestic leg, unless of course the first class domestic flight is advertised as such. There is a current promotion underway that does include first class domestic air
  17. Absolutely correct. The terms and conditions are very specific, people just don’t like it when their enforcement affects them personally, and I am sympathetic to that position.
  18. "Also good to know we can take the credit and book our own air at the 210 mark." You can take the credit and book your own flights as soon as schedules are available from the airlines. Nothing to do with the 210 day mark. That is an arbitrary date set by Regent. Up until a couple months ago, it was 270 days
  19. Same here. And as far as flying coach on domestic legs, that has never happened. As long as the domestic leg and international leg are ticketed together on the same airline or a code share partner airline, the domestic leg has always been first class. Can't speak for all airlines, but true for Delta, United, and American. YMMV.
  20. It’s not just Splendor concierge and above that have dual sinks. Not sure about the lowest level suites, but the suite layout of the F1 and F2 Superior Suites are identical to the concierge suites. The concierge suites have a little better location, a slightly larger balcony, and a coffee machine. Otherwise they are pretty much the same.
  21. 9:30 nightly. Occasionally there may be a pre-dinner show at 6:00
  22. The boarding times on the website are meaningless
  23. They were cancelled along with table sharing , group activities, and basically all other activities that involved senior staff following cruise resumption after Covid restart. Cruises were very different than what prior Regent cruises had been. Supply chain issues affected food and beverage and probably still is to a lesser extent. Hopefully that’s all behind us and won’t return.
  24. Unless the sail away is a grand voyage or world cruise, then sail away is nothing special.
