A kludgy solution at best since you are only shown six available cabins at a time in a given category/deck. I’ve often thought it would be nice to see a complete deck with each cabin labeled as available or not, along with color coding representing the category.
Your domestic flight legs will not necessarily be economy. If you are ticketed on the same airline, then you will probably be first class on those domestic legs. At least this has been true for me for multiple Regent cruises.
Pappy— the operative word there is “Modern”. If IT infrastructure isn’t so modern, then some sort of dead-lock condition may have occurred resulting in queued updates. Mike Moore can probably comment on that possibility. From my personal experience making dining reservations for traveling companions, I didn’t see any of that sort of delay, but then I was making all of the reservations with the multiple booking numbers. Just a thought…
I would be more inclined to think the issue was related to database locking since all of you were updating the same records with reservation info concurrently.
We are on a 14 day Mediterranean cruise this Fall. The cruise is also being marketed as two 7 day cruises. When making our dining reservations this summer, will we be allowed to make one two per restaurant (one for each segment), or be limited to a single reservation per restaurant? thx
