She would try a few things but she mostly went with the Filet. She loved it. We did eat ate Butchers Cut and we all got the Rib eye and it was very good

A friend that I traveled with was not very adventurous and just have the filet almost every night and really enjoyed it.

In the USA it is in US dollars. As of right now there are no craps tables and most of the tables were $10 minimum

Honestly, what did the expect. The Seaside just got the US and they could have expected an inspection. Someone needs to be fired over this.

This is quite concerning as it is a utter disaster for MSC. They might not feel it is but if this gets publicized more it could be bad for them. MSC needs to get on this and get more staff on this ship. In reading the report, a lot seems to do with a lack of staff. They need to self correct and get that grade up.

The YC director has always taken the time to meet and go over a concern or issue when I bring it up to the concierge

We just asked for butter and we got butter. Pretty easy. I have seen complaints about portion sizes, easy fix ask for more.

I read one review recently that had a con as that the portion sizes are small in the dining room. This is part of the MSC difference since it is quite Americanized. I also have a different view of MSC as I have only sailed in the Yacht Club which is a different experience.

This statement is in my opinion problematic. It is a very small minded and uneducated view. I am not even going to take the time to point out the glaring issues with this entire point.

I think you will enjoy the YC restaurant so don't worry about that but I am surprised that they are all booked. I would ask again as the concierge normally can get you in. I would take it to the YC director if they say no again.

I take a different view here. Since the OP seems to have a lot of issues with MSC and false information, you would expect that they would question this. Also, they say they are seasoned cruisers. How often do you dock at 6 am and not get off the ship for 2 hours. I would have questioned it immediately. I would have also asked my butler and listened to the ships announcements and not relied on the YC staff to get me off.

It still is 10,000 points for a 7-11 day worldwide cruise interior room. The 5000 point free cruise is up to 5 days in the USA only interior room. The 8,000 points is 7-9 day USA only interior room

We normally fly first class and the weight limit there is 70 lbs. We have been over 50 with some bags and MSC and the porters have never said a word.

This is a far stretch. People need to be responsible and get insurance if they are worried about losing money.

We gave that on the first day and barely saw our butler the rest of the week.

After several YC trips, we have found that with the MSC excursions that if we are to wait in the topsail lounge and be escorted we are never the first to arrive at the bus. Normally we are the last. So now if it is very important we get off we get our butler to escort us off prior to being called. On our last Divina cruise our traveling friends had to get off early as they had a very early flight. Their butler had them off right away to avoid any delay.

We have traveled on casino certificates and plan to do again next year. I have a question for anyone that might have done this in the past. The certificate we just earned has a sail by date of 4/2/2024. We are looking at a cruise but it leaves on 4/9. Has anyone had luck in having them extend the certificate by a few weeks? Also, this one is 11 nights, does anyone know what they charge for the extra day? I will be emailing them but I just wanted to see if anyone else has attempted this. Thanks

We have asked on the Seashore, the Meraviglia and the Divina, we have received one every time. Even on the Divina despite the balcony being smaller. No issues
