  1. If you are over 21, they may take your wine and return it to you. Being under 21, that is a clear violation. And the OP had said that she decided not to have her daughter bring wine aboard for her so the question has been answered
  2. I have read that solo passengers in Aqua can bring guests occasionally. But this does not apply to you. You will not be able to bring a guest with you. The only way you can eat together is to forgo your blu dining and all go to the main dining room together. Be sure to coordinate this with the maître d’ in blu so they know not to expect you. The maître d’ will make arrangements for you to dine together.
  3. Well, using that terminology, they do offer a kir royale, which presumably uses an alcoholic fruit liqueur as a base.
  4. No. They don’t do takeaway from the Elite breakfast.
  5. No. You look at a video and then go to your muster station with your Seapass card in hand. They check you in and you are done. You can Watch the video on your phone or in your state room.
  6. “It’s not mine officer, I was just carrying it for a friend” 😀😳🥴
  7. On that ship, the concierge balcony room will be 10% larger than the standard veranda balcony room
  8. It might help if you tell us where your sailing is because there are different rules for US based versus other locations. But if you are sailing from the US, I think you are taking a big chance that you will be flagged and that she will be embarrassed for what, to save a few dollars? Not worth it, in my opinion
  9. Celebrity did away with formal nights, now they call it evening chic. Dress up as formally as you like and you won’t be alone. On the other hand some will be decidedly informal on those nights
  10. Try Explorer OTS. The diamond Lounge had huge windows and even some outside seating.
  11. The Elite drinks menu does have cordials, listed under non alcoholic. Perhaps gkbiii missed it. There is no alcohol in a cordial.
  12. I love the diamond lounge. It was a tranquil spot, mostly child free, where I could hang out all day long. Pastries in the morning, little sandwiches at lunchtime, and hot hors d’oeuvres in the evening, and the self serve Cappuccino machine all day long. Also The diamond concierge was on duty there several hours a day.
  13. You should be able to go with them to the breakfast. But recently a couple of people had reported that this was denied on E class ships
  14. Trivia, movies, enjoy the pool with no crowds
  15. I’m on a borrowed device to post this because I can’t get to CruiseCritic on my iPad
  16. Did you speak with any management staff about this? Problems on a ship can only be solved while on the ship……
  17. I thought it was just me. I had to borrow a friend phone to post this. I can’t sign into Cruise Critic at all. I have turned my iPad off and on and I have cleared cookies and I’m not sure what else to do?
  18. Will you be cruising later this month, next month or six months from now? This is such a fluid situation……….
  19. If you mean from Japan to Vancouver, transpacific, that will not be happening in 2024
  20. Most likely they will change ship time to match shore time but you won’t really know until you board and see the schedule for the cruise
