  1. No, they do not give concealed alcohol back. They confiscate it and dispose of it.
  2. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don’t. The policy is that you Arndt to bring liquor back on board with you after being on the shore, the reality is sometimes they take it and sometimes they ignore it
  3. The in room bar set up isn’t cheap but it can be ordered for your state room on the ship. It gives one bottle of spirits, some mixers and some salty snacks for around $100
  4. I say skip the specialty restaurant since you are so reluctant. You won’t enjoy it because a silent cash register will be going off in your head the whole time.
  5. It seems that at some point you stop thinking of cruising as being a vacation, a treat, a once-a-year respite from work. The whole mindset changes. You bring along your watercolor paints or your cross stitching or your jewelry making or whatever portable hobby you have. Maybe you devote time to read, or stream movies. Maybe you compose a letter a day to an elected official about some issue you care about. Maybe you work on your memoirs. I met one man who was determined to become a better photographer and devoted a lot of time to his iphone shooting pictures, editing, and working on his techniques. You don’t feel that you need to race off the ship to see the sights or go souvenir shopping. And perhaps when you do leave the ship, you take the time to visit an art museum or some lesser-known attraction of the place you are visiting. Since you don’t have to cook or clean, time is freed up for other activities. You try new foods, because the buffet has so many offerings and you can have a bite of this or a bite of that just to see if you like it or not. It’s a very different cruise experience from what it once was when you were new to cruising and felt that you had to hit every beach, every historic fort, every cathedral.
  6. Try clearing your cache If all else fails, you can submit the form and the documents by snail mail
  7. Not sure why you can’t say “thanks, I see that I was wrong” but whatever….🥹
  8. Never gotten any confirmation email for webinar watching. Maybe others have
  9. The shops get a random selection of items. You can’t count on anything Being there from one cruise to another. Bring what you think you will need.
  10. Why does that man have a halo? production values, people! Look at yourselves!
  11. And we’re buffering, and buffering, and buffering. At this rate it could take three hours. But who cares? PUP program lives!
  12. Certainty? It is to laugh🤣😂😏😳🤯😱🫣🤔🫠😵‍💫🤩🥸
  13. In Seattle, the service was paid for by the city of Seattle, since so many flights from there leave late in the day, because it freed up passengers who wanted to do some sightseeing in the city but didn’t want to drag their luggage around with them. Reports are that other cruise lines have reinstated luggage valet from Florida ports but Celebrity has not for whatever reasons.
  14. Still no Luggage Valet out of any Florida port
  15. Also not true. Cartons (like milk cartons) have also been used
  16. Sorry, more information needed. Where does it say that drinks are included? Do you have your booking form? What code was used?
  17. You might be thinking of Royal Caribbean’s Crown and Anchor. Did you mean to post on their board, not Celebrity’s?
  18. Nope, never heard of it. Could this be one of the new things due to be rolled out tomorrow?
  19. You will have to wait a few hours for the news to drop
  20. Walk up acceptance at dinner is unlikely. They need to know how many servers are needed at each venue ahead of the beginning of service. You might have luck at the sushi venue especially at lunch. The other restaurants might seat you but prepare to be turned away
  21. You wouldn’t think that that would need to be specified but for a very short time (like maybe a couple of weeks) when the drinks packages first came out, the Specialty coffees with alcohol were included in the non-alcoholic package. It didn’t take Celebrity long to fix that error. In my earlier response I should have specified that smoothies are not included in the basic package but I think they are in the premium
  22. I don’t think you will find fresh squeezed juice the best case they have is Frozen, not from concentrate juice. there is no limit on the number of drinks you can order in a day specialty coffees are included, smoothies are not
  23. Many types, waltz one day, fox trot the next. No partner needed. It’s designed for beginners.
  24. This goes against EVERYTHING others have experienced. Can you please provide a photo of that waiver?
  25. not zenith-targeted, don’t know where Pennstatedj got that idea
