GeorgiaPeaches, At the initial booking, on Celebrity, both must choose the same package. After that, there is no requirement that both people have the same packages. So one could upgrade and the other not. Or, if there was no package chosen at all during the booking, one can purchase a package and the other not.

So, she doesn’t enjoy cappuccino or soft drinks or sparkling water or fancy tea or any of the other beverages in the packages? if she really wants only one drink a day that would be included in a package, why not just pay for that one drink?

Sailed on M class ships since 2004. Deck 10 aft is, and has always been AFAIK, the bar outside the OceanView buffet. Not a walking track. There are still meeting rooms on deck 3, perhaps a bit smaller but definitely still there. On Summit and Infinity, Tuscan Grill has been added where there had previously been storage/kitchen. The plant conservatory, pretty but severely underused, is a specialty restaurant.
