  1. I typically have a cabin to myself and earn double points. No single supplement and double points was a happy surprise. Maybe it was the little gift I brought for BugNaked that sealed the deal 😉.
  2. I booked Edge September, 2021…solo cabin…no Single Supplement…I received double points 👍.
  3. Thanks Jim. I remember the uber/shuttle driver usually needing to show some sort of documentation verifying we are entering the port area for a cruise...safety first, right?
  4. Thank you. I presume the transit card that has been mentioned will get me back into Port Everglades, correct?
  5. We were lucky enough to visit Bermuda this past August. Horseshoe Bay Beach is the most beautiful beach I've ever seen. Enjoy 😎
  6. Perfect...we don't plan to get back onboard until later anyway. This is why I love Cruise Critic...everyone is so helpful! Thanks.
  7. That's great info...thanks. We are planning to get off the ship when our friends depart at the end of our first cruise, spend some time in Ft. Lauderdale and then return to the ship. Will we need to select a time to get back on the ship like we did for the first sailing?
  8. Fraser Olender is coming back soon as chief stew on the new series. Love him! Oops, I think we hijacked this thread. Sorry PinkSandGirl 😉
  9. Why do I get the feeling we are going to have a lot to talk about on Silhouette? 😉
  10. Following along…it will be fun reading two reviews of the same cruise! Bon Voyage Susan
  11. ...and I'm jealous of your upcoming cruise on Beyond. Let us know when your report will begin. Always a good read!!! Will this be the single ladies cruise that you talked about on your last cruise?
  12. On our first Reflection cruise, our cabins were right around the corner from the Hideaway. Great spot to relax! And early morning coffee was easy to get to! Enjoy.
  13. Captain Jason just posted a video (timed 17 minutes ago); it shows his cabin so I'm thinking he'll be sailing.
  14. If memory serves, the coffee station/Hideaway is on deck 7.
  15. Look for an incredibly hot guy with a to-die-for Australian accent...that's Captain Jason of "Below Deck Down Under"...hubba hubba..................
  16. SOOO excited for you. I just saw on Instagram that all of the Below Deck captains are currently onboard. This will be a great adventure. Enjoy!😎
  17. You are my soul sister...I have lists, lists and more lists. And my lists have lists!!! Enjoy the cruise.
  18. Travel insurance story since we're on the subject... A friend uses a scooter. While the ship was docked in Bermuda, she somehow got "twisted" trying to get out of the scooter in her cabin and took a tumble. She broke her hip and had to be transported to a Bermuda hospital. In addition to covering all of her costs, her insurance paid for her husband to stay in a hotel while she was well enough to fly home. The total cost was exorbitant; she is lucky she had the insurance.
  19. Thank you for the wonderful review. After sailing on other S and E class ships, we will be sailing on Silhouette for the first time in 2024. Your pictures are gorgeous!
  20. We booked a B2B for April, 2024 about a month ago. Already counting the days 😎.
  21. We have a B2B girls reunion cruise planned for 2024. First time on Silhouette after sailing on both S and E class multiple times. Looking forward to your review. Have a great trip and hope Mom is doing well.
  22. Captain Kate has been on the Beyond since it began sailing; she was previously on Edge. She is on vacation now.
  23. I have mostly sailed Celebrity for the last ten years; however, sailed on Mariner of the Seas this past August. I made the switch because RCCL's itinerary to Bermuda worked best for our group. I would sail RCCL again if the itinerary worked. My next four cruises are Celebrity. While I am not a "foodie", I did find Celebrity's food to be better. Portions on RCCL in the MDR were smaller (which was probably a good thing), but the flavor on some of the classic selections is better IMO on Celebrity. We booked balcony cabins on RCCL and follow suit on Celebrity. The SV is my balcony of choice and I did that on two Edge sailings. I am Elite on Celebrity which transferred to Diamond on RCCL. As a non-drinker, I shared my four daily drink coupons with my family. I love that I now get a free bag of laundry on Celebrity...didn't get that benefit on RCCL.
