  1. This makes more sense now. Usually, you don't seem to have this long of a break between trips.
  2. Another trick is to use one of the tiles if you are having issues finding the ship again. We walked a few additional miles trying to get back to the ship in Athens and didn't think about the fact my tiles were active there. We left quickly for our non-Carnival excursion, taking a taxi to get there and the metro to get back, thinking we knew where we were going. That ended up not being the case.
  3. I've seen enough South Park to know that is not spit...
  4. Their annual cruise is why I went on my first cruise years ago.
  5. We had our two sea days in the front. I think most passengers would have liked the itinerary modified to have one sea day somewhere toward the end. This is the Rome round trip 10-day including Greek Islands.
  6. Until you have eight port days in a row and just want a nap, but it is debarkation day, and you have to catch a flight.
  7. Not all European toilets have a bidet, but they have a two-button system that generally looks like those circles.
  8. Reminds me of European hotels, including the toilet.
  9. If you get the full 35 gallons the discount is 14%. I've done the math on this a number of times. Much easier to fully use when there are two vehicles. You are shifting the discount from one thing to another.
  10. The rules change based on the Kroger variant of store that is in your area. Shell is not our gas station partner. If you also have the AMEX Blue Cash Preferred you get an additional 6% back for a grocery purchase. We plan our fuel purchases to maximize the 35 gallons and between the two discounts, it is a 20% saving.
  11. I think most of them are fake posts that are threads from CC. If you have ever noticed, it follows a pattern of something discussed and taken the extreme to rile up his audience.
  12. Nelly's crew is the only reason I've had Cristal Champagne. My friends were playing a show with Nelly as the headliner, and the champagne was flowing that day/night.
  13. Tallinn is very easy to walk around and see a lot of things without needing a tour group. It doesn't quite measure up to St. Petersburg but not a bad option.
  14. Nope. I have an Australian cruise booked through the US site, and gratuities are not an option to add/remove from my booking, they do not show up.
  15. We did Pride in September. While the food had issues the first few days (slow service, cold entrees), things worked out for the better once the dining room wasn't as frequented with guests. A nice feature was bringing back wine at every port. We ate breakfast in the dining room a couple of times but realized that the bacon was causing problems for all of us. Chopsticks was always a perk during lunch when we happened to get back in time. Our itinerary was more Greek Islands, so some of the above problems were resolved. Other than one unfortunate incident with a person being transported off the ship via ambulance, the crowd wasn't an issue. We also didn't witness other than seeing the ambulance from our balcony since our sailing was very port-intensive.
  16. The Trikes in Aruba are a one person in front, one in back (FB photos show a few one person riders). I recommend contacting them if you are interested.
  17. This would be the year that I would need to stay in one spot since KC is playing. We've done an accidental Super Bowl cruise before but the game was available in the rooms (2014) so always had that as an option to watch.
  18. I'm the strange person who likes to sail from Port Canaveral over Miami. In December we stayed at the new TownePlace Suites and were able to catch a launch by going out on our balcony at 4 am.
  19. Better than in the steakhouse eating dining. I'm pretty sure that is what happened on our last cruise and he left the room quickly.
