Daghis Posted July 6, 2015 Author #26 Share Posted July 6, 2015 Thank you for posting that offer. Are you a blackjack player? I'm curious whether I'll see that offer in the mail as I'm a slots player. I have received offers in the past several months for cruises with comped golf outings, but I'm not a golfer either. It's like they don't really know me! ;)
PompeySailor Posted July 6, 2015 #27 Share Posted July 6, 2015 Thank you for posting that offer. Are you a blackjack player? I'm curious whether I'll see that offer in the mail as I'm a slots player. I have received offers in the past several months for cruises with comped golf outings, but I'm not a golfer either. It's like they don't really know me! ;) I thought you were a Blackjack player Marc;) Historically I am a $50 x2 box player and Roulette $100 min a spin, but last couple of cruises have spent less time at the tables and more time on slots Maybe 2hr table time per day and the bulk on slots I guess they want me back more on the tables as I drop more in a shorter timeframe. Typically now we find a few good slots and bet anywhere from $3-$5 a spin. I also get the golf and beach BBQ cruises as well, the certificate we got this cruise I believe pretty similar to what you posted about on your last RC cruise. No rhyme or reason to why I get all these offers, but IMO all these future cruise options they keep sending my way are really not a reward, maybe free rooms, but at the end of the day I will spend my money, the goal of rewards is to be spending RC money:) Happy Days! TheTruthCanHurt Posted July 7, 2015 #28 Share Posted July 7, 2015 When I was on the allure in march, I was playing roullette. I play appx 150 dollars per hand. On two occassions when I went to check my play they only had me in for 5 minutes??? when In fact that I had played for over 2 hours. The host and the pit boss new this was wrong and they corrected it...but just so you know.... the table electronics are not always accurate.. so make sure you review your play every day or two to make sure that you are getting it straight. And they always seem to give you less time never more. I always check my figures. Last time I was at the Atlantis in Nassau, I was playing $50 blackjack. I checked my numbers and they had me rated as a $25 player. I still can't figure out the pit boss's answer when I asked him about that. He can't either. OTownNick Posted July 7, 2015 #30 Share Posted July 7, 2015 Thanks for the reminder to check play time each day. I usually do that but one trip I didn't and it cost me several hours of time.

OTownNick Posted July 8, 2015 #32 Share Posted July 8, 2015 How do you check your playtime - check with casino host? A pit boss. They log U in and out on a computer. Newer ships, with new tracking, maybe the host.
RFerrington Posted July 8, 2015 #33 Share Posted July 8, 2015 That's an interesting comment. I have had just the OPPOSITE experience. I cruised with NCL 1 time !!! ...and I received a free cruise (of course, a free cruise isn't free...you pay taxes, port fees and whatever upgrade you want). I am CERTAIN that NCL is trying to "steal" me away from Club Royale and it almost worked...until I realized that I am getting 50% off my cruise fare (which works out to 43% in the end) from Club Royale. That's pretty hard to pass up. How that will change if they ever get around to implementing the new program, I don't know....but for now, I am receiving 50% every cruise I take with RCCL. You can hardly beat that.
TheTruthCanHurt Posted July 11, 2015 #34 Share Posted July 11, 2015 I don't typically check with the pit boss for my times. I just talk to the host and then if there is an issue, the host can sort it out with the pit boss. My ncl offers ( through harrahs total rewards) are terrible. There offer me inside rooms plus these fee's that usually end up being like $450.00 as for Club Royale always gives me free balconies and I only pay the taxes. Plus the cash in the casino. Although I have been on a losing streak, but the comps are very very good.
CruiseWithUs64 Posted July 13, 2015 #35 Share Posted July 13, 2015 For what I have found, it seemed casino rates were anywhere from 25 - 40% less than the price on the web site. I have no idea how they calculate the price. I haven't been on Royal in a while but I would think that they operate very much like NCL's CAS does. With Casino at Sea your discount is mostly based on time spent in the casino. My CAS person knows exactly how much time I spent in the casino. It is amazing how accurately they transmit these numbers.
OTownNick Posted July 13, 2015 #36 Share Posted July 13, 2015 Club Royale told me the casino "rates" are the same for all members....for higher qualified play, they offer some cruises 50%off or free.
fla gang Posted July 14, 2015 #37 Share Posted July 14, 2015 Contacted Club Royale yesterday to find out why I never get anything. Found out my $2500 I spend in the casino won't get me anything.
Daghis Posted July 15, 2015 Author #38 Share Posted July 15, 2015 That seems surprising. What do you play? Are you already a member of Club Royale?
tinatark Posted July 19, 2015 #39 Share Posted July 19, 2015 We got cards for the $20K team slot tournament (hubby and I each have CR profiles) - 9/19 on the Oasis in the mail - when I called them, they didn't have record of it on our CR accounts - weird. But they did have a comp balcony cabin for us for Aug. 8 (I think) - a tournament cruise - never got a notification of it via USPS mail or email! We were on the LOS slot tourney cruise 12/1 - I would rather not sail on another of those - the casino is always FULL! Seems there is no rhyme or reason to their offers - best just to call CR if you are interested in a cruise!

Casino Free Play Credit VIP Holiday Welcome Reception Complimentary cocktails while playing at Casino Royale Casino Anthem of the Seas℠ 12 Night Western Caribbean Cruise November 30, 2015 from Cape Liberty, New Jersey That's a great offer! I hope you can take advantage of it. I got an offer from Club Royale by calling them. They're offering a balcony cabin on a 5-night Bermuda cruise on Liberty of the Seas out of Cape Liberty (Bayonne) on October 17. It's their $10,000 slot tournament cruise, so maybe I'll get really lucky. :) I mention this offer because I was told that sometimes they have offers available and they don't send out notices about them. I found out by calling and simply asking what was available to me. Most of the offers were discounts, but for some reason, this cruise came up as comped. PompeySailor Posted August 4, 2015 #49 Share Posted August 4, 2015 Did anyone got and book this offer? Received this offer on virtually any Anthem Sailing I have chosen to leave out the bottom portion as it contains personal data. DW Called and we can pretty much go on whatever sailing we wish and at a steal. (Sharon, Linda will email you the details) With just getting off the Ryndam HAL and Liberty and Allure coming up, not sure we can fit in yet, as we also have the Presidents cruise to think about also doing.
