Yes there are 20 day cruises out of Australia.

I do suggest getting the help of a travel agent specializing in cruises.

We are not allowed to make recommendations of TA's but if you have friends who cruise maybe they could give you a contact.

Welcome to Cruise Critic.

Princess has a number of 17 - 35 day cruises out of Australia.

  • Northern Explorer: 17 days, 7 ports from Fremantle to Sydney or vice versa
  • New Zealand: 18 days, 10 ports begins and ends in Adelaide
  • Round Trip Australia: 28 days, 13 ports roundtrip from Sydney
  • Round Australia: 28 Days, 13 ports roundtrip from Brisbane
  • Hawaii, Tahiti and the South Pacific: 35 says, 13 ports roundtrip from Sydney

The Round Trip Australia and the New Zealand cruises are on our bucket list.

In addition there are a number of long one way cruises departing from Australian ports - just do a search at http://www.princess.com.

Welcome to Cruise Critic. There is a board here for Australia/New Zealand cruisers, further down the main boards page. But I would suggest you go to http://www.cruisetimetables.com and choose your departure port, then the time you want to travel. It will show you who is sailing from there, and their itineraries. EM

Hello all, my wife and I would like to take a good long cruise-20days + is this possible out of Australia.? or should we fly to another destination and depart from abroad.

Thank you

Plenty of 20+ day cruises out of Australia

A Circumnavigation of Aus is hard to beat ours was 33 days, included the South Island of NZ. next up is 35 days Hawaii round trip. Then there are longer ones still like Japan, Circle Pacific (though no idea when it’ll next be offered) and of course a World Cruise.

Then you can do some back to backs like Sydney to Auckland b2b with Auckland to Perth.

A lot depends on your preferred line.
