Can someone tell me if casinos are open while at port in Mediterranean ?

I'm looking to find out if the casino remains open while in port in Greece and Italy? Thank you.

Usually, ships must be in "international" waters before they can open the casino. There are some "exceptions"...like in Bermuda....not sure about Europe or the Med....don't count on the casino being open while docked.

When I sailed on Rhapsody out of Venice in 2016, No the casino was not open while in port.

They weren't when I was on the Vision (Greek Isles) a couple of years ago and were not when I was on the Freedom (France and Italy) last fall.

They are closed, same law in Europe.

Casino will be closed. We did an overnight in Venice, and the casino was closed for all the time ( basically two days) we were docked there.

The only place in Europe where I have seen the casino open while in port was cobh Ireland. I was on the Celebrity Eclipse. There were signs posted that only passengers were allowed to gamble. The shops were also open in port and it was a overnight stop.

The casino will be closed in all these ports when the ship is in port.

Closed, while in port. We sailed the Brilliance 12 niter in August.

Same here. The casino was closed while in port on the 2 Med cruises we were on.
