Can anyone recommend a good snorkeling ship sponsored shore excursion in St Johns Antigua?

Which ship? There are lots of 'em.

We enjoyed the See Antigua by Sea excursion offered through several cruise lines. It's the Excellence catamaran that goes to Green Island for snorkeling with turtles, you also circumnavigate Antigua and stop in a couple harbors, nice day and great crew.

Sorry forgot to post that we will be on Royal carribbean's Grandeur.

I don't know about ship sponsored excursions, but locals on the island recommended Long Bay to us for snorkelling.

Agree Lulu! And the water is so blue, we haven’t see it that blue anywhere else! We love the Emerald-blues of the Mexican Caribbean (Riviera Maya), but the blue water around Antigua is mesmerizing...

And the crew is great and pampers you. The short ride through the Atlantic to Green Island can be rough but the rest of the day is very calm.

Eco kayak and snorkel was good. Did that in 2014 from explorer of the seas. I think they still have it

How was the water at the beach you went too? Was there a steep drop off getting in and out? The last catamaran I went on in Antigua stopped at a beach with rough water and a very steep drop off.

Do you need to go down stairs for the restrooms?
