The Upgrade Fairy Reversed Course- Kudos To Seattle

I had posted last week that I had received my guarantee for the Oosterdam crossing next week . I had booked an HH guarantee and only recd an H.

Looking online over the weekend , I found an offer for a Cat F for $100.00 more than I paid for the HH and much less than the H is listed for.

My great TA called HAL and asked about Upgrade to the Cat F guarantee. Bottom line thanks goes to Alisha/ Alicia in HAL reservations , who came back the answer they would give me the Upgrade to the Cat F for [emoji3][emoji3][emoji3] FREE !

Now I'm back to checking the luggage tags [emoji3]

Congratulations! We don't hear about many "free" upgrades very often.

Thanks. It might have been that my agent mentioned that I'm turning 5 star during the sailing and have another cruise booked 3 weeks after I return from this cruise[emoji3]

Had a similar situation a few years ago. The only bad experience with guarantees. HAL fixed it for us as well. Always pays to pay attention!!

Congratulations on the up grade. It pays to keep checking, it never hurts to ask all then can do is say no. We once got an up grade from inside to a balcony on a TA at no cost because of a price drop we were offered either OBC or the balcony. Bon Voyage.
