Eight kayakers from noordam rescued from wellington harbour

8 passengers were rescued from Wellington Harbour this afternoon by the police when their kayaks overturned.

They were safely returned to the ship

We saw tall white caps in the harbor, not the conditions I would want to kayak in, and I should think if it were a HAL excursion that they would have canceled it.

So glad to hear that they were rescued... too scary!
