Live From Harmony 2/11/2017

Good evening to all.

Tomorrow I will be leaving on the Harmony of the Seas out of Ft Lauderdale.

I am hoping that this will be better than my last Live from as I will be traveling solo and meeting up with friends during the cruise. Last Live from I was with family and was very busy and unable to update on a regular basis. That will change this cruise

This will be the 3rd straight cruise that I am taking that is going on the Western route. I have traveled this route so many times that this time I am cruising for the ship.

Well the car is now packed and ready to go. I will be leaving from Davenport FL to head down to FLL. This trip should be 3-4 hours of travel. I have to drop by the ball field to drop off paperwork that I have been working on the last couple of days.

Here is what the trip involves

Saturday - Depart FLL

Sunday - At Sea

Monday - Labedee Haiti

Tuesday - Faulmouth, Jamaica

Wednesday - At Sea

Thursday - Cozemel Mexico

Friday - At Sea

Saturday - Return back to FLL

Well soon it will be time to leave and make the drive to FLL

Good Morning to all,

Well it is now departure day. Having a cup of coffee as I type this and having breakfast as I get ready to head to FLL.

Making sure that I have all cables packed in my computer bag. Well I think that I am ready to go. Time to hop in the shower and finish getting ready and then hit the road.

Next post will be from the ship.

Will be reading you posts. I will be on Harmony in March and cant wait. Have an awesome cruise.

Would you please find out if you can call and leave a message on your cabin phone and then retrieve it from another phone? I have the Royal Q app but my husband doesn't have a smart phone to use so I thought this might be a way to leave messages for one another.

Leave the ship in good shape, we're on it next week!

To tell you the truth is that I have no idea. I have never tried checking my messages from another phone. I also do not have the app installed.

Good evening from the Harmony.

Today went very smooth from the drive down from Davenport to getting on the ship. There was no problems with the traffic coming down to the port.

Here is a side note is that I will be telling time by the 24 hour method during this Live from.

Well I got to the parking lot just short of 1300. I was on the ship by 1345. When I checked in the stateroom keys were waiting for me on my door. My Stateroom is 7130 which is an Ocean View Balcony.

First impressions is that I like this layout. I feel that there is more room than on a cabin of like category on Freedom.

Next up will be the ships that are in port with us today.

Well there was 4 other ships in port with us today.

There was Indy

A Celebrity

A Holland America

And a Princess

Well we were 3rd in line to set sail.

First was Princess

Then it was Indy's turn

After that it was our turn to go.

Now it was our time to leave the port

The Sherriff's department gave us an escort.

Here is the building I believe that the camera is at for the Port Everglades webcam.

We have left Florida on a way out to sea

Next up evening activities.

Well after Sail Away I went to the Diamond Lounge for Happy Hour. Diamond Lounge is located on Deck 4 where the Comedy Club is located on Oasis and Allure. It is a small venue for Happy Hour in which they have overflow on Jazz on 4

After a couple of drinks and some food I went to Chops to meet up with friends. Had a great meal and was done in under 2 hours.

After that I went back to the room.

Then it was on to the Aqua Theater show known as the Fine Line.

Well tonight was the night of the Aqua Show in the Aqua Theater. This was an interesting show with good music. I am not sure what the storyline was all about. They had so good divers and some great areal aspects of this show. The areal they used was looked just like the cables they the networks use at football games that can go all over the field.

Well this is the last post for this evening

After the show I wondered up to the sports deck to look around. I ended up playing some mini golf.

Then I got this pic of the surf boards

Then I saw the Abyss.

I plan on going on the Abyss sometime this week
