coast2coast Posted January 2, 2010 #26 Share Posted January 2, 2010 loved the books. :DNever heard of the drink though. Sounds good! Found it on a website called drinknation.com Very yummy! Sweet, but the lime definitely adds a twist! :)
Sugar*Magnolia Posted January 2, 2010 #27 Share Posted January 2, 2010 Anything with vodka! :p Like, vodka with "juice" in the morning (after 10am of course) Then DOTD by the pool, good frozen stuff to keep cool. French Martinis with dinner. Hey, we're on vaca! :D
coast2coast Posted January 2, 2010 #28 Share Posted January 2, 2010 Bahama Momma. It's the first drink I have when I get on the ship. It gives me that "cruise" feeling. I always have the drink of the day too. Love Bahama Mamas, too, but found it ironic (is that the right word?) when they were passing out free samples of them when we stepped on board our ALASKAN cruise in August of '04. Royal Caribbean needs to come up with some good cocktail names for those "colder climate" cruises. :D

Yum!! :D At night, it is wine and/or champagne....with an occasional Jaeger Bomb in the Schooner Bar. :D

Hobiecat01 Posted January 2, 2010 #34 Share Posted January 2, 2010 My favorite sail-away drink is a Bahama Mama. Mango Tangos during the day and the Mojitos at Boleros any night. DW likes Pina Coladas...way too sweet for me. ------------------ Sea ya! TxKroozer Posted January 2, 2010 #35 Share Posted January 2, 2010 We enjoy a Long Island Ice Tea at the Sky Bar...Vodka, Gin, Tequila, Rum, Triple Sec, and a splash of sweet n sour, with a dash of coke to make it look like tea. A killer drink so they put a caution label on it to only drink two and slowly.

geoblond Posted January 2, 2010 #46 Share Posted January 2, 2010 I'll have to third the Lemon Drop Martini. Had it in the Champagne Bar on the Voyager and it was yummy. I appreciate all these suggestions-I'm going to write some of them down to take on our cruise in March. I want to try new drinks but when it comes time to order I draw a blank.
