myers0214 Posted May 8, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 8, 2010 Anybody have any goals for their next cruise? On my next cruise I am going to try the Drink of the Day every day and go to all the afternoon teas.

thekings23 Posted May 8, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 8, 2010 My goal is to win back the $800 I lost on the Freedom.
AQW Posted May 8, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 8, 2010 For my October cruise my goal is to balance the vacation desires of my children (e.g., junk food and staying up late in the kids' club) with what I know they need to be successful (e.g., semi-nutritious food and ample sleep). I did a fairly good job on our last kid-cruise, so my goal is to improve on that. :) My personal goal is to squeeze in another cruise between now and October so I can be platinum on that sailing. ;)
jhale Posted May 8, 2010 #5 Share Posted May 8, 2010 My goal is to be able to be comfortable in a bathing suit again, and go down the slide. All 19 cruises and I've NEVER gone down the slide. Heck, I've only been in the pool 1 time on the Celebration, lol.
BND Posted May 8, 2010 #6 Share Posted May 8, 2010 My goal is not to gain the 4-5 lbs I average on each trip. I've lost the 4.5 lbs I gained in March, but now I have to drop some before we leave in Nov again. It's a vicious cycle.
SMSACE6 Posted May 8, 2010 #7 Share Posted May 8, 2010 ON my next cruise, I hope to enjoy more shows in the showroom during the evening and spend less time in the casino.:D From reading the posts here, I am going to try a hotdog from the grill! And a BLT from room service. I am also not going to miss the "farewell" party, and hopefully it will ease the pain of coming to the end of my cruise!:)

Grandma58 Posted May 8, 2010 #20 Share Posted May 8, 2010 My Septmber cruise goal is have a GREAT time & plan another cruise before I leave on this cruise. It is a short 5 day cruise. I like to try the new foods that I may not be willing to spend money in a restaurant to find out if I like or dislike something. My December cruise goal is to go to the SPA for a massage...:):)

CCbaby817 Posted May 8, 2010 #23 Share Posted May 8, 2010 I have a few goals for our sailing in June. 1) Relax. I am usually one of those people that wants to do everything. I am determined to take some down time every day. 2) Try not to fight with the husband. No matter how enjoyable a vacation is, it's also stressful, and we always end up fighting. It's usually over something really stupid, so I'm going to try to keep it to a minimum this time. 3) I will go down the slides. 4) Take my daughter to afternoon tea time. GlendaleCruiser Posted May 9, 2010 #24 Share Posted May 9, 2010 I've managed to do most all of the things I've wanted to do over the years: have a facial, massage, go down the slides, swim in the pool, spend time in serenity, order room service, have a BLT a hot dog, nachos and hamburger, try the pasta bar, burrito bar, deli, tandoor, and pizza, watch an outdoor movie, go to the shows, play bingo, gamble in the casino, take a dance class, dance, sit in the piano bar, walk the lanai all the way around, win at Trivia, go to afternoon tea, buy and smoke a Cuban cigar, and lay out in the sun. I've had breakfast and lunch in the MDR, but not for last two cruises. Been too busy with excursions. I miss that. I hope to do more next time, even though we are still taking an excursion in every port.
