(With comments on problems) – Nice, comfortable room. Plenty of space for the two of us. Centrally located - movement was minimal and it was convenient to the stairs and elevators. Some overhead noise from Solarium with chair drags, occasional cart rolling - nothing intolerable; no other noise from hallway, Centrum, etc. Lot of room "squeeks" on moderate seas. Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? No Balcony View View was fine. Balcony Size? Typical Was wind a problem? No If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? n/a Any specific problems with this cabin? I've tried by number and found nothing and I don't want to scan 11 pages. Thanks! In the search box at the top of the page type the name of the ship you are looking for. From the results it will list all cabins from that ship. Then scan the list for your deck number and cabin number. Hope that helps. Loved the layout of this cabin over other GS cabins in regards to closet and drawer space. Smaller bar area, but coffee and tea kettle are on the bar due to there being 2 electrical outlets. Bailey & Sophie Posted February 18, 2015 #562 Share Posted February 18, 2015 Special thanks to Mysticks1 on the Celebrity Cruises forum for this idea. I would like to begin to assemble one for Royal Caribbean. To the moderators, I would appreciate if we could make this a "sticky" at the top of the page for all to see. Every week or two I will post a PDF for all the ships and cabin information compiled here. Please, refrain from posting cabin questions here so this can purely be an informative thread, especially for those that are first time cruisers or seasoned cruisers looking for a great cabin. The template is as follows: Ship - Deck - Stateroom # - Stateroom Category – Starboard or Port Side - Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Was wind a problem? - If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - Any specific problems with this cabin? - Any other comments? - Ship - Legend Deck - 2 Stateroom # - 2147 Stateroom Category – Starboard or Port Side - Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – very quiet Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? -no Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Was wind a problem? - If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - Any specific problems with this cabin? - Any other comments? - There is absolutely NO storage space in the bathroom. Other than the counter top, and bottom shelf where extra supplies are stored, NOTHING. Bring an over-the-door shoe-type holder to put your items in!! And the bathroom door only opens about 45% so it's difficult to get in and out of the room. Shower is very small. No fridge. Lots of storage in the closet. We had easy access to many specialty restaurants, Vintages wine bar and Park Cafe. Central Park was so relaxing to wal through. Loved the extra storage space and walk-in closet of a JS. Tucker in Texas Posted February 22, 2015 #564 Share Posted February 22, 2015 Explorer of the Seas Deck - 7 Stateroom # - 7337 Stateroom Category – Inside Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – yes. Was a little worried because of a "white" space next to it on the deck plans. Turned out to be an electrical closet. Second worry was it was a "corner" one and I would hear a lot of clanking of dishes turning the corner to get to cabins further inside. Did not hear anything. Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - no Any specific problems with this cabin? - I would suggest that the beds be separated rather than together. Very little space on the sides to get in and out. One side just about completely blocked by the sofa. Had to crawl in and out of the bed from the end. Any other comments? Deck 7 very convenient other than the theater which is at the other end of the ship. Elevator nearby. Library nearby. Windjammer straight up. Dining rooms straight down. Computer room straight down. Guest Services straight down.

Normal or oversized for class? - Standard Sized Balcony Was wind a problem? - No If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - Cabin was aft, soot wasn't an issue however the adjacent cabin had an exhaust vent above which occasionally splashed some water on the balcony ledge. Any specific problems with this cabin? - Minor cosmetic wear and tear Any other comments? - Air conditioning in this cabin responded well to adjustments made to thermostat. When set to full cool, stateroom was very cold.

Hump cabin with very roomy balcony. Was wind a problem? - couldn't tell for sure. Coldness seemed to be coming from the sliding doors. Last night of the cruise, icy liquid developed whe the outside temp. was 10+/- If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - Aft by elevators--no soot problem Any specific problems with this cabin? - see above comments Any other comments? - Lots of closet/draw space as compared to Oasis & Allure. It was very convenient & approximately 15 ft. to elevators. Loved the one door vs. 2 door component in the shower which made it seem bigger--no more floods in the bathroom. Also, large TV over bed. Loud engine/machinery/air/mechanical noise 24/7 Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No Any specific problems with this cabin? - as mentioned above, there is a loud engine/machinery/air/mechanical noise 24/7. Any other comments? - This cabin is the farthest down a little hallway off the Centrum. It is a great location, but the engine/machinery noise is unbearable. It's loudest in this cabin and gets quieter the closer to the Centrum, but it is 24/7 noise. Closer to the Centrum cabins (4580, 4582, maybe even 4584) would probably be good for those who need fan-type noise to sleep. Brandywine_101 Posted March 3, 2015 #569 Share Posted March 3, 2015 Ship - EOS Deck - 8 Stateroom # 8578 Stateroom Category – D1 Starboard or Port Side - Port Side Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Reasonably quiet. This deck/stateroom is directly below the pool/bar deck. There was some noise from chairs scrapping the floor boards and children running above. You could faintly hear the music as well. But none of this noise continued late into the night and it wasn't loud/distracting enough to cause me to lose sleep or want to switch rooms. :o Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - Yes, connecting room, but absolutely zero sounds from the older couple next door. In fact, I rarely heard any neighbors at all. As deck 8 is generally the "suites" deck, there were not a lot of children, babies or young adults, mostly older couples. Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location or if any obstructions were an issue. – Balcony was LOVELY. No obstructions whatsoever. Was able to see clearly left, right and center. Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal, I wish it were a little larger, but it was adequate. Was wind a problem? - No the wind was lovely. I only felt the ship rock on the last day due to higher winds in general. If you enjoy the wind as I do, open the balcony door and the stateroom door at the same time - you'll get a lovely cross wind. If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - We were dead center of the ship. However, we did "smell" the exhaust from the engines from time to time. Any specific problems with this cabin? - None whatsoever. Any other comments? - Being mid-ship, this is one of the newer cabins that were installed during the "stretch". It doesn't have those icky shower curtains in the bathroom, but rather a nice enclosure with sliding doors!

We are in 4590 on Serenade in a few weeks and it's the same configuration as Brilliance so I'm assuming we will be hearing the same noise 24/7. Bummer. Do you happen to have a photo? (With comments on problems) – No ship noises at all, but there was some noise that could be heard from carts in the Windjammer above. Didn't bother us, but may bother some. Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Cabin is toward the front of the ship and has great views forward, aft, and down to the water. The starboard side bridge wing is easy to see too. There is also a relatively large overhang above this cabin that helps protect from rain. Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal for a Grand Suite on the Vision class ships - but is a very ample balcony. Was wind a problem? - No, but breezy near the railing while underway. If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A Any specific problems with this cabin? - No Any other comments? - Cabin also contained an L-shaped sleeper sofa, two chairs with a small foot stool, coffee table, bar and a wall of mirrored closets. The balcony had two chairs, a table, and two full loungers like the ones located around the pool deck. Dan.
