dino2067 Posted July 16, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 16, 2010 I haven't seen this posted on CC yet but for those that have an interest, one's past Oceania sailings are now listed on a tab under Oceania Club on the Oceania website: Your Past Sailings Oceania Cruises would like to introduce our new "Your Past Sailings" page dedicated to you, our Oceania Club member. We recognize the value of your business and are excited to provide you with your cruise history. Our goal is to continue to recognize our most loyal guests and provide the most up-to-date information. Kathleen
Paulchili Posted July 16, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 16, 2010 Kathleen, Thanks - it is a nice feature; especially if your memory is fading as fast as mine is :) Paul

joan24 Posted July 16, 2010 #6 Share Posted July 16, 2010 They had past sailings before under the Oceania Club page under My Oceania. It was only when they changed the website that it was lost. Glad to hear that it's back Joan
caribbeansun Posted July 16, 2010 #7 Share Posted July 16, 2010 That's because you probably followed what amounts to a dead link on their site using a menu item under "My Oceania" which doesn't actually have the information rather than navigating to the generic "Oceania Club" page and then scrolling down to find the "Past Sailings" link at the bottom. Of course if you select the sub-menu item from the "Oceania Club" page entitled "My Oceania Club Account" (as distinct from "My Oceania") you would find the following paragraph: My Oceania Club Account As a valued member of the Oceania Club, we ask that you bear with us until all past voyages are entered into the website. To continue to receive exclusive member benefits, promotions and company information, it is important that we have the most accurate membership information in our system. O's web site is not intuitive and I wish they'd invest a few $'s and make the darn thing logical, easy to navigate and dispense with redundant and non-functioning menu items. It's probably one of the worst sites I visit on a semi-regular basis. Doing queries on sailings is painful requiring you to reenter data time and again if you wish to change a parameter. The web site is dramatically at odds vs. their on board experience (hello, marketing department, hello, is this thing on...) It is nice to have the history back and at the risk of sounding like a whiner - I would have really appreciated it if they had included the ports under the description of the "past sailings" as that's more meaningful information to me. Thanks for the "tip" although tried to pull it up and it didn't work..
marilynfaye Posted July 16, 2010 #8 Share Posted July 16, 2010 O.K. I have tried this several times (bringing up the site usig both Explorer and Mozilla - sometimes that makes a diference) and the best I get it is a screen that says "Page not available". Does that mean they just haven't loaded our cruises yet? To be sure I am doing it right: Oceania Club Page - at the bottom left - a sepia toned picture of a couple taking a picture of themselves. Oceans&Rivers Posted July 16, 2010 #9 Share Posted July 16, 2010 What information is listed? Voyages or more, e.g. cabin number, dates, travel agency used, etc. Who can see this data? I really would not want a travel agent, for example, to have access to all my past voyages. I don't always use the same agent. If one does not like the data listed, can one opt out? You have it correct: Home > Oceania Club > Past Sailings Based on your experience, it would seem that not all of the past sailings information has been loaded yet. Oceans&Rivers Posted July 16, 2010 #12 Share Posted July 16, 2010 Voyages, cabin numer, dates but not the travel agency used. You use your log in information to view. Jill Thanks. Does anyone here know if it is in any way linked to a database to which an agency or marketing subsidiary (or worse out-sourced) has access? I would prefer cabin category (or nothing) instead of specific cabin number. Also, would anyone who has a person's booking number be able to access any of this information? marilynfaye Posted July 16, 2010 #13 Share Posted July 16, 2010 As someone pointed out, Oceania used to have this available on line (requireing a log in name and password of course) and I rather like them listing the cabin. It's a way to help you refine your choices as you book the next one and the next one and the next one.

It's a way to help you refine your choices as you book the next one and the next one and the next one. Just curious how Oceania listing your specific cabin number helps you refine your choices for the future. I realize that not everyone is blessed with a great memory but there's software for that (spreadsheets and relational databases, for example) and paper notebooks and file folders, too. :) P.S. Isn't it easier to remember a cabin number than a log in ID and password? You can label a file folder on your computer with your cabin number and tuck all the photos inside for future reference, and then back it up to a flash drive, hard drive, another computer or device, etc.
Mura Posted July 17, 2010 #15 Share Posted July 17, 2010 This doesn't work at all for me. Maybe because Oceania Club doesn't like to accept my sign-in anyway. I always have to go into circles to finally get in. Drives me nuts. I'd love to see my prior cruises because right now I'm not sure just how many we have! It would be nice to see them in one place ... Maybe in 6 months it will work. They always know to invite us to a private dinner ... so I guess they'll still know! But I sure wish it weren't such a hassle to sign in. I think it's because my official name is Mura Kievman Mager and the system really cannot deal with a 3-word name... brian_uk Posted July 17, 2010 #17 Share Posted July 17, 2010 As I said earlier .....I just do not get the point.......too much unnecessary information about US online. Who knows how it will be used and do I really care which cabin I had earlier.....I thought that within any category they were all much the same. RetiredFL Posted July 17, 2010 #19 Share Posted July 17, 2010 We like all the info. It is password protected so it is no different than your online banking or other websites that have personal information. I am sure no one except me is interested in what cabin I was in in 2005! However for the memory challenged it is a help as we have had a couple of cabins that were not ideal (too near something or near an exterior noise) and we would like to avoid them in the future. joan24 Posted July 18, 2010 #20 Share Posted July 18, 2010 Like Mura, I just got the message of "page not available". i have no trouble signing in or getting my future cruise. I'll try again next week. Joan
brew Posted July 19, 2010 #21 Share Posted July 19, 2010 It doesn't work for me, either. Hasn't since the website was redone. For future cruises I have to log them in manually, rather than them popping up once I have deposited - you'd think they could do that, too. plimsol Posted July 19, 2010 #24 Share Posted July 19, 2010 Worked for us. It has all the information one would need and/or want except the total number of cruises you have taken. This would be ideal since long itineraries now count for more than one.
